I love the product, but I can't find help for my issue. I have iPad 2 IOS 9.3.5. I downloaded several apps including xkey plus and GarageBand and my xkey does not show up for connection. I don't even have "Bluetooth media devices" in the advance tab on GarageBand. I am able to connect to my MacBook no problem. I disconnect on my MacBook before attempting to connect iPad... Nothing
Byron Brown thats odd. Some apps that have bluetooth option in midi you can link with the xkey direct, some apps that don't have bluetooth midi in options you use the xkey app to pair the device to ipad first. If you contact their support I have found them to be fairly responsive
Yeah that'll be why. I had an ipad2 for long time and upgraded to an air2. You can pick air2 up fairly cheaply now, alot of newer apps struggle on ipad2 now also

redskylullaby CME got back to me. I guess my ipad is too old. ipad 2 does not have Bluetooth 4.0.
