There are clearly things that the Bible simply does not address. Maybe it would be best to just accept that fact.

Heres ken giving another irrational argumnent on incest ! Saying adam was perfect is very problematic in that he was the first to sin. And then on one side he says God is never changing, then on the other he says God allowed incest because it was ok back then. Illogical and irrational thinking to defend a book.
Wrong, Eve was the first to Sin as she was tempted first. Adam was warned not to eat or to listen to her, but to listen to him. We fell because we let a woman tempt us into something we knew was wrong. It's why men are constanstly warned of female promiscuity and the urge of lusting over a woman's beauty. Because it's what caused us to fall from God's Grace in the first place. If a woman fears God, she understands what Eve did not. Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. So that means that same strength was put into us, that same insight, that same understanding of self control.

I feel like Genesis doesn’t make sense or add up because somebody was trying to cover up how creation was actually started. It is okay though , because to understand the end you have to understand the beginning & vice versa. Alpha & Omega.
As I recall, according to the bible, Cain was banished to the land of Nod, where he found a wife, so obviously Cain's wife was not a relative of his, because Adam and Eve were not alone in the world. If the story is true, then maybe Adam and Eve were first, but they certainly were not alone. The bible makes that clear with Cain's wife.
So You are basically saying that every disabled Person was Born that way because of the sins of their Ancestors?
10 AM is making the usual argument that a lot of Christians that I think to some degree illiterate makes. Their mysteries in the Bible interesting how Yahweh put that in there and let us look at it.

I struggled with that too. Cus if Adam only had 2 kids (cain & able) & able is dead how did Cain find a wife when the next kid (seth) wasn't until 130 years later? However check it again. Text never states that they didn't have kids other than cain & abel before seth, we just assume that. Also if they had daughters before seth it probably wouldn't be listed as in general if you read genesis chapter 5 it's all about males being listed by name but certainly the men listed "begot" females too but it doesn't list them. Bottomline is we need the Bible to make sense or we can't trust it and if you pray and think it through, we can get solid explanations for the doubts. Text highlights seth but that doesn't mean that they didn't have other kids before him. Just like if you read gospel stories of what Jesus did while on earth, the writer isn't always putting them in sequential order and it doesn't mean that everything Jesus did is listed. They hit the highlights. Even when Eve states in genesis that seth was her "new seed" replacement for abel, it doesn't necessarily mean that she hadn't had other boys and certainly doesn't mean that she hadn't had daughters since again if you read that chapters genealogy highlights it seems to only list males. Other explanations abound also but won't get into now

On the question of whether they had other children before Seth, the Bible does not say they did. Your contention that 'it doesn't necessarily mean' still won't create the possibility that it means what you say it does. My guess is you haven't researched the 6th or 8th day creations, which would not be a surprise given your comments. You would be well served to research those. I can certainly help you out in that area.

Any other conclusion is pure speculation. Now, again, do you believe the Bible, or your own supposition? You need not answer that question, as the answer is obvious.
Adam and Eve were singled out as main characters in the story because through them comes Christ. It gives Christ’s entire genealogy in the Bible so that there is no question that He was Christ. There were obviously other people living in the world.. Cain says that people will kill him when they know he killed Abel and God marks him and gives warning to any who come across him. Then Cain goes and finds his wife in the land of Nod. There are many people not mentioned throughout the Bible, so why assume the same is not so even in Genesis? We do not have a list of every single person ever created at any point in time. Sometimes Answers has good info and sometimes not so much.. but this is why God tells us to verify all things in the word and through the Holy Spirit. Pray asking for wisdom and truth with a genuinely seeking heart and God will provide.

If someone is created perfect, they can't just turn that perfection into imperfection. Perfection remains perfect or it's not really perfect in the first place. Adam and Eve obviously were never perfect, if they were, they never would have sinned. Being created perfect would mean that the choices you make will automatically also be perfect. If you are inclined to make imperfect choices, then you are not perfect.

Perfect is not finished , with blemish , incomplete , not whole. God is good , the holy one , and the spirit , whatever god creates is good , and is created perfect , in his image and complete. When god created man he created him whole , which made man complete , and good because gods nature is good. Therefore , when adam and eve sin due to disobedience which is separate of god they therefore became imperfect , separation of god who is good is imperfection , because now the link between the creator and creation is gone and now , they suffer the consequences of disobedience through sickness and disease , confusion and the desire of flesh. Also , you clearly don't know what perfect or perfection is and clarified that up in the beginning. Something that is perfect can become imperfect , for example a team with a unbeaten record which is perfect that suffers a loss is no longer perfect , the reason why cars depreciate after they are purchased because they being blemished by the owner by being driven or drove . We as in humans , man or woman are only complete with our obedience and connection to our creator because we are his creation , with that link and obedience we aren't complete and that isn't harmony which makes us imperfect. Lastly , for my final analogy an athelete can be the 5 tool player which is known in baseball as the complete player , who has speed , steals bases , bats for average , power , fields and can throw , as you know and I know as we age our body doesnt hold up as well as it does when we are in our 20s we lose a step or two as our age progresses, so naturally that once complete player will lose one or more of these abilities that no longer makes him or her the complete or perfect player . so yes a perfected being can become imperfect.

I understand where you are coming from BUT the Bible is so descriptive about everything till the Bible touches the topic about Cain's wife, where the Bible doesn't address her as his sister. What we come to notice is that the Bible makes that introduction for the others but not for Cain's wife.
Based on genealogy in the bible it mentions cain finding his wife BEFORE seth was born and if seth was the third child of adam before he had more sons and daughters according to the bible. This brings me to believe that although adam was the first man God created MAN as a whole based on the 6th day. Adam and eve were only specifically highlighted in my because they are the beginning of the salvation topic of the bible. Their genealogy is what leads to Christ Jesus.

Answers and Genesis have done some pretty awesome things however, a lot of things they teach simply aren’t true this earth is no 6000 years old is billions if not trillions of years old matter fact this world was here even before God start talking you can look in the very verse of the Bible the very first verse and you can see that God said in the beginning God said let there be light and darkness was upon the face of the deep so the water was already there wasn’t it?remember God makes survival for us to study not to learn from a bunch of other men.

You do not know what you are saying! Adam was not the first man created! Yahweh created them male and female at the same time on the 6th day, then he rested on the 7th day then FORMED Adam on the 8th day for a specific reason. You do not know how to rightly divide the truth of God's word!

The Bible does not say that Adam had daughters only after the birth of Seth. According to Genesis 5, Adam begot Seth when he was 130 years old and according to chapter 4 Seth was born soon after Abel's death. This seems to imply that Cain may have been about 100 years old when he killed his brother. Since there was then no "pill" or other contraceptives, it's hardly likely that Adam and Eve would have had no other children while Cain and Able, the 1st 2 sons, were growing up. A healthy fertile couple will have a child every year or 2 when there is no contraception. Therefore, by the time Cain killed Abel, there may have been scores of other children besides grandchildren. More than enough for Cain to choose a wife from. Genesis 4 jumps from Abel's birth to the time of the sacrificed leading up to Cain's murder of his brother, passing over all intervening events. Why did Cain build a city and not a house? By 'city' the text didn't mean a modern metropolis but likely a fortified settlement. Furthermore it doesn't say when he built it. Cain and his wife would also have had many children, not just Enoch, after whom he eventually named the 'city'. So he probably built the city when his family had become large enough. Also because of his fear that anyone finding him might kill him, meaning anyone of his many brothers and nephews. When read objectively, the Bible record makes complete sense. Besides, Jewish tradition, the Talmud, Josephus have always maintained that Adam's sons married their sisters.
I no longer believe Adam n Eve were the only humans, I believe they were chosen yes! not the only humans. See God placed Adam in the eastward part of the garden of Eden, where the 2 trees were, n remember the rivers n towns came out of this garden too. Adam was one on one with God, how lucky he was. God gave him rules or a list to do, this was b4 Eve soon Eve was given then both of them were in the eastward part of the garden with God it's amazing. God never told them to be fruitful multiply replenish the earth, they never gotten the chance to for they were kicked out from the eastward part of the garden n God had to kill an animal for it's skin to make clothes for them as well. Why is it not based in science? Most modern science tell us that over millions of years a single cell somehow changed information and turned into various creatures until finally humans evolved. If you want a really good laugh pertaining to the flood...look up the evidence of a world wide flood in archeological history, you will find the Sphinx was affected by water, all the way to the Grand Canyon. They were created with an eternally vast selection of DNA combinations that two original people could reproduce into billions with no two being absolutely alike. Even the most identical twins have some form of differences.
Cain spoke to God after he killed Abel. He said people would slay him if he was banished to Nod. God gave him protection. Certainly his immediate family would not slay him. So who would slay him? Probably someone outside of his family which was down to Adam and Eve at that point. The question should be who are they which would slay him. God made the races on day 6. He made Adam and Eve on day seven a day which had no ending like the first 6 days did. So technically we are still in day 7 now. Which proves the first 6 days could be long periods of times not 24 hour days.

Some say he waited until a newborn sister grew to the age of reproduction and she joined Cain. Others say there were people not mentioned in the bible that lived in Nod that he could marry without that long wait.

No where in the Bible talks Lilith being Adams wife. Lilith is not biblical or anywhere in the bible. I’m sure someone was named that but it has no relation to Adam. It is false information, it was just Adam and Eve until they had kids.
