Japanese name koi type from color. Not from parents. Actually, can call anything depend on breeder name it. but in public or koi show will be Tancho Showa.
Good question: this depends on the fish and the bloodline that is used. Some fish, isa showa for example have slow developing sumi (black). It also depends on the hardness of the water quality, in Japan water is very soft while in Europe it’s hard and sumi comes up faster

A shiro is a showa without beni so if it has beni it’s just a showa. No matter how you word it it’s just a tancho Showa from shiro parents

Omosako is famous for adding size to their shiro utsuri line by introducing a Showa to the Shiro Utsuri bloodline many years ago. So it’s a Showa.

Its a Tancho Showa. Motoguru on the fins and also the menware face pattern. Sorry Im not buying Tancho Shiro Utsuri.
