The Chi season 6 episode 15 “Tower of Terror” recap:
the episode begins with Emmit & Rob debating after who should host thanksgiving dinner, remember my blended family, extended family, adopted family break downs go check out my previous Chi recaps.
But anyway Emmit was voted out , Thanksgiving at Rob & Tiff’s.
Then we transaction to Victor aka Trig fresh off house arrest, remember his case was dismissed. Quitting his job as city council man, as he now realizes, everything that glitters ain’t gold per say. But Victor does end up getting his girl back. Cause they really broke up over nothing. Knowing that’s not what either of them wanted.
This episode is titled “Tower of Terror” I guess that’s supposed to symbolize Douda raining down on the city….. after his wife Roslyn reminds him, that after killing Alonzo, to be careful and that he needs to send a message, one might think, killing Alonzo was the message but I guess that wasn’t enough.
Back at Rob & Tiffs crib as they start preparing for thanksgiving dinner, Tiff is prying or poking about Rob’s reaction to his father being killed. Once again ladies, great intention but wrong approach, most men process things differently, as he said, “what you want me to do cry everyday?” That don’t mean he don’t care or he’s not hurt, but just be present and he’ll talk when he’s ready or maybe not even talk about it. The point is, you gotta let him process, his way. In the words of Alicia , “Wait & Trust”
Bounce over to Emmit & Keyshia’s where once again Nuck is over playing with his new found son and Keyshia invites him to thanksgiving dinner, not even asking the home owners for 1 you just inviting people to other people’s house is wild, 2. not even having a conversation with Emmit 1st is wild and 3. to try and rationalize her behavior by repeatedly saying that’s my baby daddy so just shut up and eat it, like he’s father of the year or not practically in a gang is wild. you want him to see his son, go meet him at the park or something just a thought. In her mind she probably don’t want it to seem as if she’s sneaking around with him, but I also don’t wanna see this nigga every time I turn around in my crib.
Now Finally we get to see the dynamics of Pastor Ezekiel & his wife Tatihani or thottiana, what a name ….
I wouldn’t call it an open relationship, more like a conditional relationship. He’s on a paper chase, to busy to tend to her, so he allows her to do her thing, as long as it’s not embarrassing or public, while she pretends not to notice that he’s attracted to his white assistant. He’s cheating with money & fame, she’s actually cheating but not cause he knows about it.

I think the boundaries of inviting both to thanksgiving dinner is wild, I wouldn’t go that far, so hopefully we’ll see how that plays out. Y’all know how dinner scenes go.
And guess who’s still somehow here, fuckin Lala, 🤦🏽♂️.
Pun intended…. Look at Lala aka Dom caught creeping in the kitchen, again 🤷🏽♂️ with Vic Mensa aka “Jamal”. This was an interesting scene tho, with both making valid points. Or so I thought, on the rewatch, she was just all the way wrong. And not for her objective, but her approach was just horrible. Women are quick to throw that narrative out there of “The homeless broke man” looking to attach himself to any warm woman that will take them in. Like she don’t know he just came home from jail, shoot him some grace, with limits.
Cause yes, it is, some no job, no good niggas out here but not all of em, how quickly or convenient they act as if for a lot of them without child support, section 8 and/or niggas giving them money that they would be homeless too. “We gotta slow down” - another narrative that women place on men when in most cases it be the women being the aggressors when they know or should know they be moving to fast with the physical without caution of their emotional stability.
Meanwhile, the female who should’ve been upset was Bianca, for Douda basically just used her body to jerk off in and relieve some stress. We’ ll take that one, sorry ladies, it happens, and y’all do it too, it’s not right, but it’s okay.🤷🏽♂️
Last but certainly not least, The episode ends with Douda sending Emmitt a message saying , “Times Up” , as he’s been on the clock to take out Alicia and he ain’t did shit yet. Remember Rosalyn told Douda to send a message and this one was heard loud and clear as, Emmit looks up and his car blows up, right after Keyshia had told him, she was going to the car with baby in hand.
Emmit comes rushing out with panic and desperation, but nothing he could do but watch as the car had exploded, baby seat on fire and everything. What an amazing scene of drama & emotion, that was unfortunately cut short as Keyshia and the baby comes from behind him. Nobody was hurt. - Розваги
The family dynamic is crazy..but I actually like it. I'm happy Victor and his girl is back together. Behave Tee😂

I literally just finished watching this an hr ago. That ending..omg! My heart dropped. This episode was a good one. Hate the season finale is Friday.

@@TaylorMade1of1 I thought Keyshia and the baby were gone. If it went down like that, oh my. I honestly think Nuck would have handled Douda. Emmitt is too damn iffy for me. But he might have gotten a little man power in his ass. Who knows. The team might have gotten together and succeeded this time

This episode was so good I enjoyed it I wish more seasons were coming.
It’s been renewed, a 7th season is coming
