Claude: Don't worry Raphael, I promise to look after your sister
Also Claude: Ok bye im leaving Fódlan
I mean, he probably left them with some money.
well, he left when she was (surely) safe
Probably even took her with him to escape the war
@@dizzyheads I don't know about that.
If his childhood is anything to go by, Almyra is not exactly a safe place for someone with Fódlan blood, and dragging her into his battle for the throne sounds like a sure way to get her killed.
He probably gave her money and a safe place to be, and maybe has his spy network send him regular updates on her status? That sounds like a Claude thing to do.
That's actually why I spared him
Leonie: I did what I could Captain Jeralt... In attempting to kill your own child... I'm sorry I failed.
Byleth: wat
Byleth: Yare yare daze.
Hahahaha that’s what I said 😆😆😆😆 I was like how dare you use my father’s name! When you going to kill me 😆😆😆😆
She didn't actually say that but I guess she was trying to kill his child lol so she might as well have said that.....
I hate Leonie so much
One of the reasons I can't stand Leonie. She really thinks she's more important to Jeralt than Byleth.
Dorothea: If you win, you'll at least have the decency to kill me quickly
Byleth: Allow me to demonstrate
Dorothea: NANI!?
Alternatively, against Cornelia
Byleth: No hesitation

Rikku Blue also recruit the waifus and husbandos, so you don’t get heartbroken b killing them

Rikku Blue so you don’t have to kill the other students
@@kiaghezel-ayagh9099 excuse me? Who said I was heartbroken?
6:55 Claude: Us fighting seems like such a waste
THEN WHY DO YOU SWARM TO ATTACK ME INSTEAD OF THE EMPIRE EVEN ON NORMAL DIFFICULTY?!
Snowmanne “Melee combat is confusing lol”
Lorenz of Alabia Agreed, in Verdant Wind the Kingdom’s a wreck with an unstable leader and it makes sense why you’re fighting, but in Azure Moon, with Gilbert and Byleth as major strategists, they’re an organized force with a concrete goal who fight Golden Deer just cuz. I could get with the whole they couldn’t tell who’s who argument if Claude and Byleth’s support convo wasn’t “Wait why tf are we fighting lol”
Yeah I couldn’t escape Killing Ignatz Ralph and Lysithea once they charged my units it was over for them lol
I would've loved if there was even just one map with the Alliance and Kingdom teaming up, instead of a free-for-all that ruined a perfect chance to take down the empire.
Personally, I would've rathered a team-up, and then in order to keep the plot the same afterwards:
[SPOILERS]
Dimitri (VW or SS) or Claude gets severely injured (AM) during the battle, and that leads to everyone retreating and the Alliance and Kingdom splitting up; Edelgard still gets injured as usual and retreats too. Dimitri dies (VW or SS) or Claude goes into hiding (AM). The existing plot continues on like normal from there.
Claude asked Dimitri whats the point of them fighting each other, but hey your troops kept on fighting mine first lol
Claude with everyone else's death: "Damn, I'm sorry I couldn't save you guys"
Claude with Leonie's death: "Shit, that was my best unit"
@Matthew Stratton to be fair Leonie has the easiest route to Bow Knight
@@versenh.1982 And Bow Knight is stupid good
@Matthew Stratton True but Hilda survives, unlike Leonie
Ferdinand’s death quote should’ve been
“I am........... Ferdinand................ Von Aegir...... ugh.....”
The game is unplayable now
Yeah
I WAS Ferdinand Von Aegir...
(Saw this elsewhere, too fitting)
Correction: Ferdinand von Die-ir
Ferdinand Von Goner
Claude: Look Dimitri... You're facing the wrong way. Edelgard is over there.
Dimitri: I SAID MOVE IT
Claude: Literally every Black Eagle troop is dead, why are we still fighting?
Dimitri: Win Conditions :/
Yeah that battle should have the option to focus on the Black Eagles and mabye even join with the Golden Deer instead of killing almost everyone. Imo, no-one of the Golden Deer should have been killed in the BL run since they share almost the exact same goal.
straypaper
Dimitri charging directly at Claude: MOVE CLAUDE
Claude: edelgard is literally in the opposite direction just turn around
Dimitri: I SAID MOVE
BL was my first run and I absolutely hated Gronder Field. It made no sense that Claude would just start charging at whoever isn't with the Alliance, even if you avoid his troops, and then tell Byleth that fighting each other is unnessecary. Either I just didn't understand his motives or that was a real weak plot device.
@@canyounot6858 same except golden deer was my first route and I didn't understand why Dimitri was trying to kill Claude and the gang too. Maybe it would have made the fight too easy in the Verdant Wind and Azure Moon routes but I think they should have made it where you could just avoid each other's armies and just focus on Edelgard instead. Maybe add more enemy units on Edelgard's side to still make it challenging. Idk, but that fight was frustrating and it only makes sense in Edelgard's route.
This is basically my first play through, I killed everyone since I didn't know how recruitment worked the first time. I'm still traumatized from this.
autobee23 Same here. That’s why I knew that when I played another file, I recruit as many of the students as I could. I was unable to get 4-5 or so in my second Blue Lion playthrough but I got them all in my Golden Deer file.
But the story is better without the recruitment of every character, that being said, it's sad not having them all. For example, Caspar is a general with the death knight in GD, but is replaced with someone random in the GD cutscene.
Was crying trying not to kill anyone important but they just kept charging
@@noivern2315 yeah but the BL story isn't better if you don't recruit. Caspar doesn't really have an idea why he's fighting, he just fights like a soldier. GD deaths are literally senseless and while I somewhat understand why Claude charges... Why the deaths. At most you can sleep on recruiting Hilda since she runs. BE in general seem unsure to be following Lady Hitler who caused a 5 year war and didn't stop human experiments AND the continuous use of artificial monsters. If not for the implied romance even Ferdi should have reasons enough to betray Edelgard and be recruitable. To the battle of gronder field... It would've been more believable if Edelgardfan#1 used a spell to make the field foggy... Even though that would have been annoying... And the battle ended with Edelgards loss. It's very annoying how GD forces hone in on you...
@@nightstareternal1592 I killed Mercedes.
Still feel a little bad about it.
Sylvain? No regrets.
But Annette never appeared in GD post timeskip, is she paralogue exclusive?
It's kinda Ironic that Bernadetta dropped the BRAVE Bow
Well she does kinda conquer her fear, albeit only a little.
@@adrianmccarthy6502 cant disagree with that
Standing in the middle of the stage she was brave
... that just made it hurt worse
Yet still attacking from a ballista. Odd design choice there lol
If you really think about it, it's like Edelgard wanted Bernie to die. She put the poor girl in the middle of the battlefield manning a Ballista that can hit almost the whole field, making her priority #1 to take down. Hell, she even drops a Brave Bow. Can't pass up on that.
It's like dropping a nice juicy steak into a lions den. The *Blue Lions* den, specifically.
Yeah Edelgard loses it without Byleth
Not to mention that eventually she will blow up the area around the ballista leaving her to die
She put Bernadetta there specifically for you to kill, so she can blow it up... Very sad indeed
indeed, Edelgard pretty much uses her as fodder, Bernie is nothing more than a pawn to her
Lol, this is why I played NG+ and boosted her supports mad fast
She is also my main killer on my blue lions run...
Ferdinand has a different death quote if he is killed while Ladislava is still alive. I believe he begs her to retreat, but she says she can’t leave without him.
I have this death
Correct
That's what I got.
so Ferdinand and Ladislava are canon?
It’s a good thing I recruited all of black eagles
All of these completely break my heart, but what really makes them so impactful is what their allies say following their death. In Claude's quote after Lysithea's death, you can hear the anguish in his voice.
Good voice acting can make or break a game, people.
Even 11:45?
Try it with the japanese dubs, it's even more impactful.
Not just that, the game let you make time to actually connect with people. I think the fact that you actually had interactions with the people, ate with them, had tea with them, and so on and so forth makes it hurt so much more
There are a few really good impactful lines too, but there are so many in this video alone that just sound like the VA reading from the paper. These characters DIE here, for crying out loud!
Claude's voice actor really nails his anguish for the death of many of his allies. Especially Judith and Hilda later on if you fail to save them. He's probably the House Leader who cares about his friends the most and this is generally reciprocated since they genuinely want to support his dream. However, without Byleth's assistance they are destined to fail.
It hurts my heart, fictional characters that shouldn't be of any importance aside from entertaining, damn this game is so good, but it hurts a lot.
I feel you

Killing the the Golden Deer students is extra painful when you realize that, in the end, you end up allying with them anyways, meaning you murder them solely because Dimitri's bloodlust has led him to go straight for Edelgard, rather than trying to regain control of the Kingdom and join up with the Alliance against Adrestia.
In my playthrough they attacked me first even though I was avoiding fighting them so they had it coming
Kill or be killed, golden deer had powerful units
Well, no. In BL, Claude attacks you, not the other way around. The excuse is that the battlefield is in chaos and no one knows who they're attacking but that excuse immediately falters when Claude has a direct conversation with you and your house leader then still decides to try and kill you.
Can you recruit them or try to save them at least
@@MtnMedea Claude decides that Dimitri is beyond reason even before the battle, plus the knights that the Kingdom sent were discovered to be killed so I guess all contact got intercepted? If I had to justify I'd say that Claude is worried because Dimitri brought a large army across Alliance lands to get to Myrrdin so he brings an army to get you off his lawn. I wish he'd retreat if you defeated Edelgard without hurting a single deer though.
And all because Edelgard decided to start a war rather than just post 95 theses on the door of the church.

@@bailingfromthecart6838 you know the frace keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Wel that is what edelgard did
Tim Sprooten The point of keeping your enemies closer is to keep an eye on them... which Edelgard didn't do. Need I mention the Remire Calamity? She was working with them primarily for her own goals, not to keep an eye on them.
Edelgard: I have no intention of dying today.
Dimitri: no u

It's ironic i'll give you that.
Claude: Guys, can't we stop the fighting?
Dimitri: No
Me: Dimitri, meet me after this and write an essay about "How to select your friends and foe" also, you're grounded.
It would make sense if Claude wasn't an actual enemy that attacked everyone in range. Even Dimitri told him to move first instead of immediately attacking but Claude just wouldn't budge.
Dimitri seemed unhinged especially because I'm on golden deer
“Grounded”? What is this? Goanimate?
this is exactly why I try so hard to recruit the black eagles students into the blue lions house before the time skip same with the golden dear students because honestly, I couldn't bear in seeing Byleth killing them
@@usernameusername6600 yeah exactly it's the same with the blue lions i try to recruit everyone as i can knowing that i might have to kill them in the time skip
Recruit other students also allows them to have special dialogue with the students from thier original houses. For me this happened in my Blue lions playthrough and I had recruited Dorothea , in the fight with Ferdinand she special dialogue if you make her go up against him
Another chad way of avoiding killing previous students instead of recruiting them is to just finish the map objective as fast as possible while ignoring students specifically.
Sure you lose out on all the delicious exp and loot, and students tend to be more deadly if not dealt with, but unless the objective isn't rout or said student is also a commander that's required to be killed (like Ferdinand), it could be the best method without feeling like you're forcing your ideals on your students or making the other houses feel lonely.
I killed Felix and Mercedes during the Golden Deer route. The guilt is strong with me.
I did the same on the black eagles route, a shame about Hilda but she was avoidable at least.
Edelgard: Your journey ends here, professor... forever.
Byleth: HERE IS SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN
Edelgard: DID YOU EVEN LISTEN...?!?!?
Edelgard: "damn it he's so hot saying that"
Dorothea and Bernadetta: Dies on the battlefield.

Eidelguard: meh, calculated
@@ShadowBerserker454 that plus her reaction of indifference but pretty words says it all really
@@LuiBei1994 Are you sure though?
When Edelgaurd blew the area up, notice how the explosion actually never directly hits Bernadetta platform?
Is it not more strategic to blow up the entire thing along with the ballista to ensure that the enemy cannot use it and that they won't have time to react?
Thus, it can be assumed that Edulguard might also be trying to protect Bernadetta with it. If Bernadetta was still alive while the enemy were coming, the fire would've kept enemies away from Bernadetta till the fire goes out. By that time, the battle most likely would've been over.
@@AetherKirin really? Is that why she doesnt use it at all till u kill her? (At least from what I've seen)

FF18Cloud He only retreats in the paralouge, defeating him just ends the battle immediately.
He came back for me in the golden deer route where I killed him for good. I've heard he's meant to take the place of one of the units you recruited over from the other side but don't quote me on that. The only Black Eagle I recruited was Bernie.
And since he sides with the empire I don't know who it'll work for you depending on the choice you make when your route splits.

Dorothea is stationed at the front of the opera house... realizing it after playing bl route makes it feel worse.
I recruited her in my run, mostly out of panic. I’d only recruited 2 other students by the end of part 1, and as the ‘to war’ chapter started I panicked and tried to recruit every character from the black eagles. She was the only one I could grab before it was too late. Good to know I saved one of em, at least.

Linheart:so it would seem. Do you realize Caspar that this is the first time we've actually fought?

Also Dorothea pretty much calls Ferdinand Edelgards bitch if you recruit her too
Lol thanks. The casper and Linheart one is sad
And then she says that we killed him. Nah there is no we in you
Seeing Dorothea and Lindhardt die makes me sad ;(
Had Linhardt killed in my GD run by Nader :(
I couldn't avoid it since you can't control allies, and they were too quick to target him.
Also had to kill Ingrid (who came straight for me in Gronder) Petra (whom I couldn't avoid in the palace) Hubert and Ferdinand (who were mandatory kills). Plus Edelgard, of course.
It was all way too sad.
Why does nobody care about ME?!???
Caspar von Bergliez I care about you, Caspar!!
I know what to expect when clicking the video but damn I feel sad.
Bernadetta dying makes me so sad knowing she didn’t want to do this really and just wanted to go home, dying in the battlefield after being afraid of the outside and people just reassured her this was all a mistake...that’s why I can’t help but recruit her always and she just feels out of place there
Why?? Is Claude even at Gronder field?? I don't want to fight him, he doesn't want to fight me, we share the same enemy...
I really don't understand why we fight him there.
Aria Bell Right? It only makes since why he’s there in Golden Deer Route, hell even in that route it makes sense why Dimitri is there. But when you’re in Dimitri’s POV, it makes no sense
If you played the GD route you would know the reason they were present there.
I mean, game's called Three Houses... What kind of three way war would it be without a three way battle? Got to do something with GD in the BL route, might as well do that. Though I agree story wise it makes next to no sense.
I think it is for the same reason why Edelgard decided to get killed in GD. They don't trust in Claude and Claude sucks to get the confidence of others. It's the whole reason why Claude needs you in GD, because staying by his side, people will believe on him as much as you do.
Claude is striking back against the empire.
The reason he's fighting you is implied to be because he never received Dimitri's message about forming an alliance, because the messenger was killed by the empire
Linhard and caspar has unique dialogue if they facing each other, just like petra and hubert in a side mission.

The Chaotic One nice pfp. Boris is pretty good
Ow...The waifu
This makes me feel just a *little* extra evil for actively recruiting only one half of a pair of friends.
So you recruited Linhardt/Caspar instead of Caspar/Linhardt? You monster.
Yeah, I recruited Caspar in my first playthrough (barely), but not Linhardt. However, I managed to spare Linhardt by never attacking him. Thankfully, he doesn't move in his chapter (at least he didn't for me), so hopefully after the war everything was okay and they were friends again.
@@crazedauthor98 I did the same (he only healed the monster and I kinda one shot Death Knight). But something tells me that he got killed by the Javelins of Light that destroy Fort Merceus right after.
Oh.
Acheron: I’m not in for a beating, am I?
Annette: YOU READY?
This fits so well
Dorothea’s death scream was curdling
So let's see
>Gives her a Brave bow that is useless when she is at ballista unless she is right close
>Area is right close to where both Golden Deer and Blue Lions start
>Recluse, would not handle war at all and most likely wouldn't want to get caught up in this war
>Burns area anyways even if Bernadetta is still there (Yeah nice job treating a friend like that)
>Edlegards reaction basically says, "Oh she's dead, who cares"
Edlegard I swear wanted her to die
The burned area doesnt reach her platform tho, so the fire protects her until it goes out which would likely be after the battle. Plus Bernie is the only skilled archer in the BE (aside from generic units) so it makes perfect sense she'd trust a highly skilled bow user to man a key position. As for the recluse part, at the least in the BE route she can be frequently found being confident enough to leave her room when exploring so that reasoning kinda falls flat when you consider Bernie's newfound confidence that she's had FIVE YEARS to adjust, even if only a little. As for Edelgard's last words to her, she's literally in the middle of an intense battle, she can't exactly spare time to mourn. And especially given how much pressure she's under in her position, she likely wouldnt put any time aside to grieve until after the war was over.
Bruh all of the lords bring their friends in danger this is a war. Dimitri makes his friends kill their former classmates and in the BE path he brings them to fight in a war they are losing, while Claude also brings his friends into a battle. Not to say it's evil but it's not really that good but no one is innocent in it. Edelgard's delivery makes sense since she's suffered a lot, she's used to the pain
They probably only become close if Byleth's around, like how Marianne will only gain more selfesteem (and appear during part 2 in general) if Byleth recruits her.
@@verdantmischief7092
Claude never forces his classmates into war and there are multiple points throughout his route where he tells his friends that if they want to leave he won't judge them, but of course his friends don't back down. Even in other routes, we learn that Claude tells his soldiers to run if the situation ever becomes too dire, but his friends trust him too much to give up even if it means death. Such examples include Claude's reactions to Judith's death and Hilda's death, where in both incidences he essentially responds with "No! You were suppose to run if you were ever in danger! Why didn't listen..." Compare this to Edelgard who basically gives an ultimatum to Petra, telling her "join my cause or Brigid becomes my enemy," it becomes clear that you can't compare the two.
@@wazow6281 El never says this.... ever. In fact, she tells everyone that they can leave and she would not stop them, she even let's them stay in the Empire during the timeskip if they chose to side with the church. Uh uh I don't have any idea how you got the idea that Edelgard forces people to fight for her when she insists on being on the battlefield alongside them.
Coming from a black eagles playthrough, this incredibly hurts to watch, especially bernadetta. Although i married petra, i got a soft spot for her. Its like Byleth killing his little sister
Exactly, after playing black eagles I was like "man if killing Mercedes and Sylvain hurts imagine killing Ferdinand or Dorothea"
God Dimitri telling Edelgard he ways he’ll kill her sound so damn badass and brutal...
The first choice was the one he went with.
I read spare or kill but what i see... Is.... Massacre :(

I recruited Dorothea in BL and at some point at the academy she mentioned how devastated she had been about Ferdinand Von Aegir's death... That got me
6:50 We are only fighting you because YOU ARE FIGHTING US
The truly sad part of that fight is:
In my Blue Lions playthrough, I managed to finish off all Edelgard’s army, without even touching Claude’s. But NOoOOOoooOOo... The map objective is to defeat ALL enemy commanders - so Claude and his army of non-students (because I stole all of the Golden Deer students) ended up falling.
@@GamecubeGrace1989 Indeed.
Once Byleth felt pain, guilt, and horror at the students he had killed.

The nightmare had passed and left him with nothing. It does not matter what side he takes, who lives or who dies.
He is damned, he and Sothis both. To return and slaughter, to win then die and return again. To fail.
Forever.

Bernadetta was the saddest death with Raphael, her sister will miss him

For real lol I just finished Blue Lions and I'm still mad at Claude- the whole time I'm like bro get you and yo gang tf away from us. Fkers kept coming
Fighting ANYONE of the Golden Deer, or much less the Alliance, feels like a waste of time in the Blue Lions route, when it's clear how much Dimitri desires revenge on Edelgard and the Adrestian Empire fir starting the war, and being acquainted with Those Who Slithered in the dark. Sand can be said for fighting the Blue Lions in the Golden Deer route. They all have the same enemy, so why fight each other too? It just doesn't make any sense to me? Claude and the Alliance had nothing at all to do with the Tragedy of Duscur, and the death of King Lambert, did he?
Ten seconds in and I'm breaking. I cant do it, I cant kill Dorothea. I cant kill these wonderful characters.
Raphael’s scream is the most blood curdling scream you’ll ever hear. Also Raphael is a sweet heart even in death.
Oof, Caspar's last words hit like a TANK. I actually warmed up to him.
5:36 when I first heard that line I was like "how much time did you spend on making up that rhyme, huh Dimitri?" (cool one tho)
And you could recruit Lorenz? I guess you needed support with him or recruit him before or am I just stupid and I killed him without even trying?
recruit him before i think
You need to recruit him before the time skip... He'll be missing when you enter chapter 12 but you can persuade him to go back into your ranks as seen in the video
I'm not sure, but I never recruited him before and somehow I got him in my first playthrough.
You need to recruit him before the time-skip to be able to persuade him at the great bridge to join you once again
Hilda can't be recruited if you play BE, like Flayn and the rest of the church (minus Alois and Shamir) she'll leave your ranks. Other than that, all retainers + opposing lords can't be recruited.
Hilda's *technically* Claude's retainer so, while you can snatch her in BL or C, she'll leave if you go with BE.
I recruited them so I didn't have to kill them. I felt so bad for killing them in my Golden Deer playthrough.
This is the same thing I did lol I cant bear to watch the kiddos die
@@KantaCrowe I know right!
I didn't know about recruiting or sparing at all my first time around... I sometimes just bum rushed a boss just to spare them... And it I couldn't spare them... I cried. I honestly did.
@@Marth1000 The second battle of Gronder Field is where I truly struggled to attack some units. I didn't wanna do it but I couldn't clear the chapter without doing it. ;-; I'm sorry Bernadetta
me every time i see a golden deer student die: my heart! IT SHATTERED!!
Ignatz: I am helping Claude build the future of fodlan
Byleth/Meloo: Hahahahhaha *NO* *One-shots him*
Me: Recruits everyone in my first route so I properly bond with them before emotionally destroying myself in second route
Also me: *watches this video* WELL I GUESS I'M RECRUITING EVERYONE AGAIN LMAO CRIES
Man because black eagles and golden deer were my first routes, this really was heart wrenching. Especially Caspar and Ferdinand. They were my boys in my black eagles play through.
what claude said after lysithea died physically drained all the emotion in me
I mean, her crests would drain her of life in not too long as well
thank so much for making these videos
"Here is something to believe in!"
*kills Bernadetta*
...Okay, man.
Finishing if Lysithea feels like killing a child. Her voice. All of these were sad.
These hurt since I played Edelgards route first
Me too. Especially Bernie. Shes like a little sister. Watching her die is an ouch.
Dude... Caspar, Bernie, Dorothea, and Petra tore me to pieces. 😟😟
Same, Caspar and Linhardt especially
I went Golden Deer.
Moment I realized I can recruit others, I prioritized Bernadetta. I also took Felix and Ingrid~
Dorothea, Casper, and the magority of the church of serois were accidents that I wound up not using. Watching Dimitri one shot Ingrid made me sad, Felix tanked him one divine pulse later though so it's fine.
Watching him cut down Mercedes though... Now that i'm playing BL's, i'm sad.
Didn't care much for Ashe.
Sylvain was vaporized by Lysinthia, no surprise there.
I had Bernadetta one shot Hubert, no regrets.
I believe Hilda finished off Edelgard, if only because she one shot both Marianne and Lysithia when I got cocky.
The unique dialogue in her final map if you have Lysinthia fight her was telling D:
what about rue
* *recruits literally every single student every playthrough* *
What distorted timeline is this?
Byleth one shoting all these characters made this so weirdly hilarious to me
To see my black eagle girls all die is just too painful when I choose the other houses recruiting all three of them will be my top priority
Caspars death line was so sad considering how hard he tried to be strong like his father
Willpower I know right..? ;(
Linhardt is my boy and it hurt me the most
Nuu It hurt me more.
"No hesitation!"
Video cuts out...
NOOOOOO! BERNIEEEEE!!!!
*So many tears fell that day*
Mercedes has dialogue with the death knight
Me in every map pre-timeskip: "I'll rout here, and here and here too! EXP baby!"
Me in maps after time skip: "Lysithea warp me right into the boss. You bois, kill anything that doesn't have a familiar face!"
Lysithea can warp you to the boss?!?!? What did i miss in my previous run!?!
Carla Winter She could learn Warp later on. I heard it needs Thyrsus though
@@carlawinter8867 You make her learn Warp in Faith rank B or B+ and you give her Thyrsus, the hero relic from Lorenz' paralogue which gives a very very long range to teleport.
The slow-mo and screams get me everytime 😭
I wasn’t able to recruit Ferdinand pre Timeskip with the B support thing and all, and during my first explore of chapter seventeen Dorothea said “and Ferdie was there. We killed Ferdie, Professor, he used to be our friend. Do you remember those days.” It was so emotional
I’m so glad I recruited Bernie, Dorothea, and Petra
11:32
Annette: you ready?! HADOKEN!!!
You know even I'm still playing the blue lions route i honestly like Dimitri more now and atleast I'm happy enough that i got all the recruitable black eagles members to blue lions house and I forgot to mention I got Lysithea and Hilda to Join blue Lions
Do you mind doing the special dialgoue if lets say if some of the students were recuirted but then were faced of against their own realm
Examples: (Ferdinand / Hubert, Caspar/ Linhardt, Rapheal / Ignafz Hilda vs Claude [BL exclusive doe) some of those I can think of off the top of my head.
i'd love to see that!!
Hilda and Claude didn't seem to have unique dialogue when I had them fight in my BL run, which was strange.
@@YourCrazyDolphin huh that is strange; she is the only retrainer unit recuirtable so idk
@@Marcos19031 To be fair, while she plays the same role when needed in the academy phase, Hilda is not actually a retainer. She's just another student.
The dialogue for Caspar/Linhardt is so sad and I did it on my first run
6:55 claude we're just doing this for the content.
Incredible job for killing Ignatz using Dimitri!
I killed the Edelgard in my first route; saved Linhardt, Bernadetta, Dorothea, Lorenz, and Marianne by recruiting them to the Blue Lions, idk if I could live myself to kill them; that special dialogue when Dorothea kills Ferdinand is heartbreaking; just shows their the best Black Eagle couple
Edelgard dies in all but one route, so not suprising really.
CrazyDolphin yeah my next file, I’ll be going with Edelgard, I wonder who’ll die; most likely Catherine and Seteth and rhea of course
Rhea, Edelgard, and Dimitri all die 3 times out of 4 without Byleth. Claude survives every time unless you decide to off him in Edelgard's route.
I love Acheron's pre battle "I'm not in for a beating..am I"
11:47 When you kill the mastermind behind everything by complete accident.
This is why I tried to recruit as many people as I could in each run. So I didn’t have my heart broken over and over.
YOU CAN RECRUIT LORENZ??
Also one thing to note, the victory condition at Gronder field is "Defeat all enemy commanders", it is not necessary to kill students other than Claude and Edelgard ...Only realize after clearing like half the map and wiped out the Alliance...
Raphael cared more about the Alliance and his sister than himself. That is true devotion
Wait you mean I could’ve spared people awwww I wish I knew this sooner.
Thanks for uploading this. In my BL playthrough I was fast forwarding and accidentally skipped Leonie's dialogue when she attacked my Byleth.
...Yeah, I'm going to recruit pure wholesome boi Ignatz every playthrough. I don't think I can stand him dying.
Lysithea's death always makes me sad :(. Linhardt too. All he ever wanted were afternoon naps.
And poor poor Bernie. Being a hikikomori truly is the right way to live through war.
Also, Death Knight. Are you sure you are dying? You speak as though you are taking a walk in the park.
He is used to it.
8:06 my boi caspar 😥
He hit me the worst suprisingly. He legit just wants everyone to get along
*sigh*
My boy Linhardt ;(
Man I'm really happy that, if you stay on the right side of Gronder Field, Claude will be on the front lines of the Alliance trying to rush you down.
Managed to bring him down which lead to no Alliance casualties on my playthrough
