Thanks for posting a good quality version of this Pathé short. It's interesting to observe Al Bowlly where his demeanour and facial expressions are spontaneous and not prompted by either a still or cine camera in which he's the subject. It's quite telling to study Al's face and body movements as the clip progresses.
Lew Stone on the piano - Al Bowlly on the guitar - it is a wonderful piece of film - still, I wish the cameras had kept turning a little longer - we may have got some film of Al singing - never mind
