I have to admit, I didn't like this video. I think they both flowed and had some good stuff, but what disappoints me, is this guy is considered a Christian, but based on his rhymes, i would have never guessed. My issue with him is that, he didn't defend God and try to rip the Atheist guy apart with Biblical knowledge, he played right into the Atheists game. The "Christian" guy was calling him a faggot, being racist, and was no way glorifying God at all.
Unfortunately, if he didn't have any disrespectful lines, I'm sure he would've "lost". Sad when Christians seek man's acceptance rather than God's...

Brothers in Christ. I understand where you guys are coming from, but I just wanted to let you know that what you have watched is just part of the global Hip Hop culture. It is part of this culture to use one's own talent and skills to attack the confidence and ego of the opponent, thus called a "Battle". Much like there are christian boxers, MMA fighters; in hip hop culture, it is understood from both sides that it's just a game. The fact that the Christian and the Atheist can say those things to each other, but after shake hands all in good fun is awesome.
Hip hop is a universal culture with battles in rap, DJ, breakin, etc.... all over the globe. We need soldiers who can battle and gain respect from their skills and ability to hold their own in battle. I commend 3PFD for being able to take the disses with humility and even laugh at them, while giving props to the other rapper for throwing out strong disses.
The participants and people of the real hip hop culture (not just rap music) is a global culture that needs Jesus, and a lot of understanding from the outside world. It's either Christians can be encouraging and try to understand the ways of Hip hop culture, or they will choose to exclude the very people who need the love of Jesus the most. Most people get into Hip Hop because they have nothing, and come from a harsh reality in the real world.
I know battles are all in good "fun", but that's irrelevant to the words that he chooses to use, which in turn affect his witness. Proverbs 26:18-19.
Dyzee Supernaturalz Nice smiles and "sportsmanship" sometimes hide what people are truly feeling after they walk away from a conflict (doubt, anger, resentment, etc.) Just b/c they were chummy on the surface, doesn't mean they were chummy in their hearts. Also, the impression that he gives (to others) is that it's ok for a Christian to act like the world, when in reality, it's not. Children who follow God should not act like children who don't. We're called to overcome the world, and be salt/light in darkness, not succumb to it's "culture," and blend in with iniquity. I understand your sentiment, but we need "soldiers" who can use their abilities in a way that glorifies God. If he's blending in with hip hop culture (which you said comes from the despairs of life), then he's saying that it's ok to maintain/be complacent in a life of sin and still follow God at the same time--and that's glorifying God. 1st Peter 2 1. He should be showing people the alternative to hip-hop culture, so that they can come out of it.

Once again, thanks for watching y'all. I know a lot of people found this that aren't typical rap battle fans, so I want to say this to clear up some misunderstanding. Battle Rap is a competitive "sport" so to speak, it's like lyrical boxing. We go at each other in the ring, but outside of it, it's all love. I do not hate LSP, in fact, he and I were chopping it up before this battle. He's a cool dude and I got nothing but love for him.

3PFD Listen brother, and grace to you for willing to go all out. This iswhere you could be a little more "strategic" in going about doing battles like these. In 2 Chronicles 20:17 in the English Standard Version Bible it says
"You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you.”
In the context of this scripture, God is speaking prophecy to the prophet Jahaziel in answering Jehoshaphats (ruler of Judah) prayer during the overturned battle against his enemys the Moabites. It says also in the ESV paraphrasing "The people must confront the enemy, but as prayerful spectators, NOT combatants" I'm praying for you as I type this, but all I'll say is let the Lord fight as your spitting. I'm not saying back down and most importantly don't let up, but the message should have been well thought out and prepared properly before going out and doing the rap battle. We are not fighting against this person, we're waring with the spirit behind the person, so remove your anger and hit them with the love of God that he has shown you to them.
Work on your rhymes strategically, because you are ultimately sending a unique message in dealing with this person with the help of God.

I definitely agree with you. And I think there is a time and a place for ministering to people in a tougher way. Sometimes that does wake people up. But not like this. It's one thing to go to someone and confront them in private in such a way that shows genuine concern and desire to help, but he called LSP's wife a whore and said many other terrible things about LSP himself (there were MANY references to his weight and appearance). That has nothing to do with trying to lead him to Christ, and there is no verse in the Bible that could be pulled to back a statement like that up.

We as the battlers typically don't hate each other, and we both understand why we're there. I love LSP as a friend, and he and I were choppin it up before and after this battle. Also, I wouldn't diss someone like this outside the battle ring. I understand if it's not your cup of tea, but I'd also encourage you to maybe look at it from a different perspective. The Christian guy was awkward but had a better flow and rhyme pattern than atheist. Atheists are incredibly smart people. They usually do very well in things like this. LSP wasn't that great lyrically, in terms of flow or even rhyme structure. It was okay at best.

You're right. It's just an association I've made over the years. Usually, people that are out spoken about their atheism tend to be very well studied and cognitively sound. The same can be said about older Christian men and women. Just something I've noticed.

3PFD here. In light of some of the comments, I want to clarify a couple things.
1. Though the is posted as Christian vs. Atheist, it is a rap battle first. The focus of a battle is who comes with the best punch lines, bars, jokes, flow, performance, delivery etc... I happen to be a Christian and LSP happens to be an atheist which is an interesting subplot, but the point is to see who's a better battler based on the credentials listed above. I'll post my other point in a second post.

Cake Lord I have not seen the entire video but I pray that you find the love of Jesus Christ very soon read John 3:16 when you have a chance. Christians are not perfect and some of us don't really know the basics of the Christian faith/belief....please don't allow the mistakes of others to deter you from at least exploring the TRUTH about Jesus Christ. We (myself included) sin daily but as long as we repent wholeheartedly we will be forgiven...Jesus wants to save EVERYONE some people will believe some will not. It makes me sad because whatever decision a person makes while they are alive is the final decision after death. Galatians 6:6-10 is another part of scripture that would help a person who does not accept God is REAL. But then again it may not if your heart is not open to the Spirit of God.

Hes real and was a historical figures, he was a Jew and was a rabbi, and converted to new found Christianity, and spreaded it with his missionaries. And was killed by the Romans. But hes not religious in any sense like he's depicted in the bible but he was real if you know what I mean.
Smooth Droid How do you know this? There are actual historians around that time and place that we have recorde history of their current events. NONE of them mentions a jesus. The only source is the bible. And thats no proof. Its proof like harry potter is real cause there's a book about harry potter. Im not saying someone that claimed that hes jesus couldnt have existed, im just saying thats its unlikely due to lack of mentions about him by historians around him. We have zero evidence of any miracles being possible so to believe in something against evidence is beyond idiotic.
Oh, Jesus Christ is real alright....because I have seen Him, followed Him, touched Him, heard His voice, and He is living inside of me, and I talked to Him and He talked to me back in conversation....Jesus Christ is real because I have been in the supernatural more than once.
