- Hey friends! Follow along with Aunt Penny and me as we go junkin along the HWY 127 Yard Sale!!! Even though we hit a few bumps along the way, it was overall such an amazing trip! I always enjoy my time with Aunt Penny, and of course junkin! As always, be blessed and happy junkin❤️

The items with the prices shown at this garage sale seemed like prices you would find at an antique shop or show! I don’t blame you for staying close to home to shop next time. So enjoyed listening to you and Aunt Penny laughing and making the most of your trip together. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my goodness ya'll are a hoot love all ya'lls treasures, I was hoping 1 of you got that egg basket 😊 that's my nxt find hopefully, I got a beautiful old iron stone plater @good will of all places for 6.99 the crazing is amazing i wish ya'll could see it I've got a decorating video on u tube but my house has changed since then Lord knows I'm changing something daily lol oh i found a beautiful Salt glazed crock lamp for 20 & a very primitive high chair for 5 I'm like ya'll i get so excited falls coming so everything will change inside & out lol it's a whole process lol , God is so so good he knows exactly what we love & puts things in our path have a very Blessed wk 😊

Lawd I was worried about you and Aunt Penny Lane when I saw those cinder blocks for walls and the trim around the door! I was crying laughing at y’all the entire time! The roads in Alabama are like they are here in Louisiana… we have potholes that will eat small cars!

Just returned from the “big one”!! Prices were high! I think they hurt their sales by doing that. It’s NOT an antique show-it’s a yard sale!! Saw lots of folks walking away empty handed!

Hey Kayla and the famous Aunt Penny! I'm thinking the economy now is so bad, ppl probably out to make some $$ more than to just clean out(?) I need to downsize to move to smaller house and do an estate sale but would probably not sell much since folks don't have much money or so I'm thinkin'.... So much fun and looks like you enjoyed it all no matter the weather and the expensive pickin's. LOVE all your finds and the jokes!!

Been looking forward to watching Penny and yours junkin adventure! Love everything y'all found, and laughed so hard at y'all talking about the hotel. We recently got a room at the beach. Girl! When I tell you they didnt even have bedding on the bed and it smelled like the beach (not salt air beach) 😳 we turned around and had to walk out. It was so bad we couldnt stay. Luckily they gave us a refund but goodness the smell of that room. I hate that the prices went up so much. Seems like everything is that way, and Thank the Lord for the folks that sell affordable items, and will cut ya a deal, for us junk loving folks. Glad y'all had a fun trip, and Thank y'all so much for sharing with us.

This year your list of things you would love to find is getting shorter so it makes it harder to find. Maybe it’s not hard to find but price has to be right too

OMG...that motel room...I was full on belly-roll laughing with you! I am still laughing 😂. Last year I flew out to Ohio and shopped the 127 with a friend. We had so much fun. I was kind of boo-hooing cause I couldn't go this year so thank you for taking me on your trip. You are a hoot.

That Aunt Penny is a genius. I've had a box of that red rimmed enamelware sitting in the garage for a couple of years now. I was so exited to find red but had no clue what to do with it. I'm going to copy Penny and set it out on my front porch at Christmas time. Brilliant! So sorry about the roach motel but at least you two good ole gals laughed about it!

Great finds ladies! The red and white enamelware can be used at Valentines and Fourth of July in addition to Christmas. Noticed the thermos inside the lunchbox was red & white too!
Thrifting, junkin, yard sales, and estate sales have all become higher priced these days. My husband and I went to one in Sylacauga yesterday and we were hoping to get some good deals on a few things (4th day of the sale). But girls, I tell ya they had higher prices than the antique stores! It also looked like they hadn’t sold much because the house was still full of tons of beautiful things. I’m gonna stick to my favorite sellers from now on! Sorry about the yucky hotel ladies. Glad you made it through though. Hope you made it back home safely. Have a great week!

I stole a handkerchief idea from Nicole Garden. She took a collector spoon rack and threaded hankies through the individual holder spaces. I’m not explaining it well, but it turns out nicely. Oh, I’m a cougar also; hubby is two years younger. I love the croquet set for a porch.

Prices have gone up a lot here in Virginia for junk and collectibles due to you tubers like you because we all have fell in love with this decorating theme. So we may not buy as much but we still want our junk. You two cracked me up in your roach motel! I collect the scotch tape cans so your find was one of my favorites!
