The actual question I'm always wondering with those EAs and which could be made clear here is 'is it the best in slot for the champ or not ? ' . The discussion around the artefect is nice but answering this question is essential IMHO.
And the answer is that it's very nuanced - in most cases here the exclusives are better but in the case of Cerberus (for example) it depends on how you want to use him. You can't use his artifact in IC Cyrus as you need him as a perma damage pool with lunacy visor. Abominations is a massive step up for him in terms combat (as you can cycle his ultimate faster) but if you want him to be a defender you need to have him in lunacy visor. Wrath's is good but in many cases you want him out on his own smashing enemies and healing himself possibly with walking skill backing him up. I did try to bring this in to the discussion but in many cases is not as black and white as you would like it
