All the Work Tough Gear knives you’ve looked at have been great. This one would make an excellent companion knife attached to a large knife like you say and small enough to wear as a neck knife. I would likely edc this one. Their price point is a bit out of range for me but if it were within my budget I would not hesitate to purchase any of the knives you’ve looked at. Thanks for sharing another quality knife from Work Tough Gear Mark.
Seems like only one retailer in Canada carries work tuff gear. I'm glad to have at least one though. Hope they get some of these in. I have the klapatche, but for some reason, this knife really resonates with me.
I assume you mean Wild Coast Camping Gear? I live in Nova Scotia where they are and did not know they carried WTG. If you subscribe to the WTG calendar you will get notice of future drops. Thanks for commenting
I have the Kodiak and the Voyageur. Excellent knives and Alex is such a great designer, I may have to pick this up. I believe they changed the sheath so it can be attached to the bigger knives. Perhaps at your suggestion? I was concerned the Lynx handle might be too small, but your review answered that question. Thanks!
G'day Mark, Lynx seems to be a popular model name ....... I like Tigers myself, how about a few more of those ........ only jok'n, you can call it anything you want, ......... but is it any good. Probably a bit short in the handle for me too, (I'm in the L to XL range, .... say L and a half), still, its essentially a very good design, and as you mentioned, the rounded pommel does help negate the issue, and I'm certain .......... that's no accident ; ) I'm a confirmed fan of N690 .... and 95. I am gravitating more to small fixies rather than folders for everyday utility as well. Yes indeed, love the profile for working on a surface. I've long given away hunting too, (fish'n is my go these days), and I reckon it sure would be a useful, nimble, tool for either. That's how kydex is done .... well. I dont do neck carry, simply because I'll have a compass or binos in that position. I did notice the sliding, (adjustable), fishermans knot, ..... if your gonna do it, thats the way IMO. Some would argue to incorporate an inherent weak point for safety's sake, ..... ok, fair enough, ... but no reason why you cant have both features. That aside, with ya mate, a piggy back set up would be ideal; ......... there should be more of it !!!!!. Incidentally, Dave @ reallybigmonkey1 is very much a machete guy and has done quite a few DIY mods in that respect. Cheers Duke.
I think this is a good looking knife, and I like the size. I'm not familiar with the steel. But, the question is, how does it slice salami? .....😂🤙🇨🇦🇺🇸🤙
Morning Mark. I see you’re still trying to make me part with my money. 😀. I’m gonna be looking into a bigger knife for this summer. Not necessarily a monster, but a good large capable one. I have several 3”-4” knives, but want one for heavier tasks. Any that really stood out to you from all your tests?
@@MarkYoungBushcraft 😂😂😂. Careful, the mrs may come and stop you! I’ll take a look at the knife. There are just so many, and so many pretty ones, and I can’t buy them all. I already need to buy a new safe cuz there’s no room left in it with all the old and antique guns I have. If I start collecting too many knives she’ll beat me over the head with one…..that’s why she doesn’t know the combination. 😀
For the most part I wear 511 nylon belts I bought on Amazon and Aliexpress. I fend them more adjustable then a leather belt with holes. Thanks for commenting
I love Alex’s designs. I hope to get a wolverine once they’re back in stock.
The Wolverine is a great knife for sure. Thanks for commenting

Hi Steve. It would be perfect matched with a larger knife like the Wolverine. Thanks for commenting

I was using my Lynx for yard work today. Mostly cutting cordage. It would be great mated to the Kodiak. Thanks for commenting
Must be great to get so much stuff for free, I wish companies would send me gear to review,, 🎉🎉
I don't pay for everything but each video takes more than 10 hours to complete. I would not call that "free"

I think it would be easy to attach this guy to a larger knife, say the Wolverine or Kodiak with a few longer kydex screws. Thanks for commenting Duke

Like a dream😉. The steel is a great choice for a food knife being stainless. Thanks for commenting

Getting you to spend money is my mission in life😅. Hard to beat the knives from our friends in Finland. Maybe the JP 140?

Hello, Mark. Odd question... what belt are you wearing? Thanks!

Ha, out of stock. Oh well, I don't actually need another knife 🙄
