@Mazthoril what you gotta understand here is that there's a big trend toward piling greater and greater numbers of pilots into a given conflict that tends to marginalize individual skill. Evoke and it's allies have a few thousand pilots, which sounds like alot, until you look and the NC which boasts roughly 45000 pilots, and reigns over about 1/4 of the conquerable territory. It's not simply about winning the game, for some it's about individual skill and achievement.
@ZolarV There have been fights involving not 5 but up to 20 titans on the main server, search youtube for: Eve Y-2, 20 titans on grid of which 5 destroyed.

@RebelsAreWe Why can't the bosses of the world's workplaces comprehend how important fleet ops are? I rellay cannot complain though. I work midnight shift so I am getting home just in time for most of my alliance's ops.
@JamesPR87 I don't play Eve, but I constantly see articles saying "$15,000 of X was stolen on Eve this weekend". I'm interested in the online economy of it all, but the articles always seem to tailor themselves to Eve players.
@HelixProtocol "the only victory ... of any sorts" - you make it sound insignificant, you got totally overrun.... Also, if they pulled 15:1 odds on you, sounds like their fleet organisation must have been tip-top, and yours.... rather lacking. Strong military revolves around solid organisation - whatever their methods, and however "nooby" those methods were, if they produce such an overwhelming victory like this, with almost no casualties on their part - it was a good tactic! End of!

Laggy, but it seems that EVE is heading in the right direction with removing some of the lag.
