- Aunt Gabriela discuss about Anais and Fernando. Aunt Gabriela doesn't like Anais. Topic turns to Teresa, because aunt Gabriela knows, there's man, who is in love with Teresa. Suddenly, phone rings. Gabriela answers the call and it is Marcello. But suprisingly, Teresa doesn't want to talk to him. Gabriela and Teresa went outside to have a drink. They visit Lilian's bar, when they spot Leopoldo playing piano there, they leave. Leopoldo doesn't pay much attention to Teresa, so he returns to playing the piano. Anais and Fernando are reading their books in library. Fernando remembers himself about the masquerade ball, where he met Anais for first time. Emilio secretly watches this silent form of seducing with hidden anger. Luisa, who returned to Caňada Seca with Lorenzo, tells Manuela, that there's no message for her from Fernando. But Luisa do say Manuela about the call frtom Jacinta, and that call is matter of life or death. Luisa and Lorenzo talk to Carlotta. Carlotta thinks, that Luisa should have kept her mouth shut, when telling Manuela about the mysterious call. When Luisa leaves for a while, Carlotta asks Lorenzo about the date of the wedding. Lorenzo can't answer that question. Gabriela and Teresa returned home. Gabriela feels, that Teresa still has feelings for Leopoldo, and that's what Gabriela can't understand. Leopoldo tells Lilian about parents, that his father wanted Leopoldo to be famous pianist and mother spends her days in asylum. Rudy and Mercedes want Manuela to stay in Caňada Seca with no adventures. But Manuela wants to follow that mysterious call and visit the woman, who called for Manuela. Manuela explains, she needs to make the journey to visit the lady, who called her for. If Manuela wants to know the whole truth, somewhere she has to start and this could be the point to start. Cella tells Felisa about what happened in the night. About drunken yelling Emilio and how he spent overnight in Anais' bedroom. This is listened by Bernarda and warns Cella, that if she wants to stay employed at Salinas' residence, she has to avoid any gossip. Emilio is calmer now and asks Anais/Isabel about her feelings for him. Her answer is, that making love is answer good enough, what her feelings are about. Rudy, who promised help to Manuela, make break in the journey. They will spend night at Elisa's flat. Manuela doesn't understand that break and doesn't want to spend the night there, she wants to travel as quick as possible with no breaks. Rudy calms Manuela down and remember them time spent together at Caňada Seca. Suddenly, Angry Elisa appears and asks, if she can join Rudy and Manuela at the dinner. Jacinta lies on deathbed, she is in agony and she calls for Manuela all the time. Oviedo and other woman of neighbourhood take care of dying Jacinta.
