3 years, ago my life sounded like this song, I wasn't depressed, I wasn't sad. but because of the environment I was in, and the things I had to do. It didn't make me sad but it made me so so angry. I couldn't handle someone telling me they love me. I would deny it. And try my hardest to kill off whatever love anyone ever had for me, even though I still craved love. I was just a child. Not realizing was pushing away everything that was going to be my chance of happiness. Instead I became closer with people who hurt me. Luckily my amazing family coped with how I was acting, and got me the help I needed and moved us to somewhere we could all be around people who deserved out love. I will forever be thankful for the patience my parents had for me

this song gives me chills bc the song doesn’t lie about what happened in the past. she was nice at first and when things started going down hill, her friends threatened me and said like “you don’t know what’s going to happen with you & her tomorrow,” I messaged her about it, took about 7 screenshots of what her friends said to me and sent it to her. a few hours past by and we discussed about it and it turned out she wanted to “talk” to me about it the next day then I confronted her about it bc I already knew what she was going to do the next day when we seen eachother. I said “yk your friends tell me everything you’re going to do tomorrow.” the 7 screenshots I sent her, she looked at it and she said “sorry about them.” then said “I think we should break up, my parents told my grandparents about you and they didn’t like you.” I froze in complete pain and thought to myself if I should even continue talking with her. I proceeded to keep talking to her about it and accepted what reality gave me. next day at school, I completely distant myself from her and she “missed me,” from what my other friend told me and after 3 days, she wanted to get back with me. after talking to her about it, I wanted to give her another chance but instead I stepped back and she went to another guy she was talking to behind our relationship.
Hey if your reading this, just remember that this pain is temporary and will not last forever, and while your going through it your not alone we are all in this together doing the best we can, I'm proud of you for still being here fighting everyday, cus it's really not easy but you still strong enough to not give up, know that I care about you and I'm glad your here, your feelings are valid and I believe you'll get to a better place with time.
