Corey Bohan, Mike 'Hucker' Clark, and BMX racer Leanna Curtis team up for the ultimate tribute to 1984's BMX Bandits, Bicycle Motocross film.
The brainchild of Corey Bohan, Bicycle Motocross comes after a lifetime of religious viewing of the original film which saw Nicole Kidman grace the silverscreen for the first time, two years of planning and a hectic two weeks of filming across Sydney to create something that truly paid tribute to the original, with Corey's unique twist.

How many people hear are actually old enough to remember BMX bandits? I think the reference may get lost on a few..
This was brilliant!
+leo lion yeah probably over 30's, but I'm sure there would be something youtube showing the original. oh it says 1984 so i guess you would have to be at least 36+
I'm 23 and I saw it when I was younger bitches
ooh timetraveller!!
i'm 18 but have seen that movie
I'm 18 and I know it! bmx is my life really
Man, take me back to then. Wasn't worried about girls or cars, was just living the dream on my Redline. The scene of eating with your bike next to you... I would go entire summers without wearing a shirt. Wake up. Shorts, shoes, bike, $5 in my pocket and gone!
Sounds good to me , just ordered a GT pro performer in chrome
Martin Williams cool I got an old school performer bike along with 2 other old school GT frames with a complete DYNO old school as well.
@@markoramirezz

There was also a movie called Rad from 1986, but these two where basically it.
SAME SHOOTING LOCATIONS AS THE ORIGINAL FILM!!!!!!!i'll be damned!!!!!
Holy crap this video did not go how I expected it to.
Same here lol this had a much higher budget than I expected
Feminism ruined it
Luke Schlieper Lolz seems like you need to watch bmx bandits
Luke Schlieper York
Luke The Atheist lmao you moron, try googling the original movie
Hahah YES!!! BMX Bandits. I loved that movie when I was a kid. I'd watch that and Rad all day long.
Same here! And I'm only 13 so it was a bit outdated but it's what got me into bmx 😂
+TheCureThatKillz have you got jamming with the rad lads ?
I feel you bro. saw it when I was eight and that's what got me into bmx. sad they don't make bikes like that anymore. flatland forever!
+TheCureThatKillz It really was a rad film \m/ :)

This was top notch!
Skills With Phil I love your vids man keep it up

Lmao it’s been 6 years since this came out 😭😂🤦♂️
That was an awesome tribute, I completely forgot about those foam pads that used to be attached to bikes.
I’m glad that this was my childhood! Dawn to dusk freestyle and bmx!
This was much cooler than expected
I didn't know Keith Lemon rode BMX
It's stuff like this that is why I love redbull
I still have my GT PERFORMER.....great video
I used to watch rad and go out riding trails in elementary school some of the best times of my life I kept riding for 15 years. I love this video legendary
Too much epicness going on !

As manobras na pista de bicicross no inicio do video eram inimaginaveis nos anos 80! Video incrível , emocionante!!!
All I can say is... that was radical!
Because of this video I will never buy another Monster energy drink again. Great job redbull promo team.
This was absolutely amazing! Excellent filming and creative idea! Seriously... words cannot describe how much I enjoyed this video. I was surprised at the end when I exited full screen and saw that it wasn't even a 7 minute long video because every second was so captivating that I thought i had just watched a 24 minute short movie. The phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," could not be more at home than it is in this comment. Very good job of story telling without using words/exposition.
Punctuation please.
RockNSteady Never,!?.
jh
I agree
PatriotPigeon bruh chill
Haha, Awesome Video. Brought me back to the 80's, riding BMX with all the neighborhood kids. BMX bandits and Rad for the win!
This is amazing
Man, this video is one of the greatest things ever done for BMX! It's an awesome tribute to what I believe is the very first BMX movie ever. I wonder if Nicole has ever seen this...
Wow just wow... That is some amazing memories Bmx bandits on vhs!! I wasn't born til 87 but this was the vid my dad had waiting for me!! So sickk!!
A proper tribute to the bmx years we enjoyed growing up in the sport. A massive tip of the hat to 'Bmx Bandits'. What a hoot! Probably the best bmx edit that will ever be made, purely for the fun factor and the smile it put on my face. Well done to the whole crew - you nailed it! (If anyone hasn't seen the 'Behind the Scenes' vid for this, check it out - it explains a lot and is a great wee film in it's own right...).
This is the best thing I have seen in a long time.
i started riding bmx in 1991 with a friend of mine in elementary school. but i watched rad and other movies when i was younger than that. awesome video
I was born in the 80's.. and I can say they were spot on with the dirty randomly igniting into balls of fire. Was a real epidemic back then.
I rode the shit out of bmx in the 80s....
rebull gives you time machine
4:26 I'm not gonna lie, that was awesome!
Hellz yeah dude! How can someone dislike this, haha :D Also the 360 at 2:13

Just found this today. BMX Bandits was one of my favorites as a little kid in the 80's. Had a Blue BMX myself and always wanted to take it down a water slide...for some reason. :). This was a great tribute.

I have BMX Bandits on DVD. I have to go watch it again
Redbull makes the damn best videos
bmx bandits is the best bmx movie in my opinion and just one of my favorite movies period, such a dope retro movie
Slightly before my time the film, but within my memory given the repeats. I was so disapointed in lockdown when I considered getting a bike to relive the late 80s/early 90s to discover that they have changed so much and the old school bikes are a small fortune. I didn't get one :)
BMX Bandits was a classic when I was a kid... good to see this taking a lighthearted pop... good work
It’s cool bc the bikes in the race are actually old vintage badass bikes of the day
The best movie ever is BMX bandits
Holy cow, this might be the best video I saw for ages 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nothin but the best nothin but glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DUDE! That was totally RADical, those old school bikes are gnarly. I want to buy one now.
