He's using a dull blade and it also does not appear to be the Black and Decker OEM blade for it.. I made a fence this summer with it from bulk purchase boards and it ripped and cross cut 3/4 pine easily.

A brushless update to this system would be amazing.
You can use the saw one handed if you use your index finger on the safety switch and middle finger on the trigger.
I wouldn’t be surprised if TTI makes a Hart tool to compete with the black and decker matrix
