As a Wrexham fan I have to say that was an impressive comeback against a team in good form. I fear County are going to be hard to surpass this season. Well played.
I'm not sure about that. Wrexham, I feel, are bound to get promotion this season through autos - but without a doubt I think we both deserve to go up :)
County playing higher quality football I think. Wrexham are missing their key defenders and relying on Tozer throws and the two strikers; if that fails……
Thanks, fella. That's a very generous sentiment. And I think, reading the runes, you're destined for automatic promotion and we're destined to fight it out in the second place playoff, which is going to be a whole world of angst. You've got your club on a sound, financial footing and there's some intelligent thinking about its future direction. There are happy days ahead for you.
Ref should have stopped play? He didn’t stop it when Scott was down injured just before this goal, nor when Barnet had the opportunity to kick it out during the attack. You only then need to look at Barnet’s no 8 in this clip, lying down ‘injured’ before miraculously getting straight up…….
In any fair world there would be two automatic promotion places and we would both get up. As this isn’t the case I fear for whoever comes second - the playoffs are a nightmare. In any case both teams clearly deserve to go up - good luck in the run in and may the best team win.
Notts absolutely deserved the victory, but that first goal was shocking. Barnet player went down injured, and the ref and Notts players completely ignored him lying on the floor for 2 minutes. He wasn't faking injury, either. He had to get treatment after the goal. Really poor. I'm completely neutral (grew up next to Barnet stadium but have lived in Nottingham for 5 years) and happy that County did well, but the ref should have stopped play.
The player carried on after treatment. and wasn’t a head injury, referee saw the situation well in this moment and in hindsight is clear the player was unfortunately acting a little and showing gamesmanship, something that clearly happens in the game. To be honest the ref should be applauded. Going forward the rule should change that physios can enter the pitch at anytime like in rugby, will stop this situation once and for all.
@@waynewilkins1754 He did carry on, but after five minutes of treatment, and he was hobbling for a while afterwards. I'm not saying he was critically injured, but he was absolutely clattered, and 99/100 times, you'd expect the ref to stop play. Particularly when the ball travelled back to the halfway line, and Bostock went to kick it out before changing his mind. Anyway, it didn't make any difference to the result and hope County top the league.
I was there in the family stand.....player didn't get clattered at all.....player went down after getting nicked around the ankle.....ref had a good view of the situation....as for having treatment for 2 mins (as well as their goalkeeper who also made a miraculous recovery at the same time)...that is all about "game management".....it takes the momentum out of the game.....did you also notice there were no injuries to Barnet players once they were behind in the game?
Notts County are the best team in that league I wish them the very best as Im sure my favour Rachid Harkkouk will be pleased.
Man, I love this team very much, I chose it in FIFA 18 and from there I fell in love. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷❤
Greetings to you from downtown Nottingham!

Both Notts and Wrexham are streets ahead of the opposition, both teams, hopefully will go up.

Notts county are just awsome to watch I hope they get promoted as champions.

Exactly! LW made a quick thinking decision and right right one too I believe 👍
Wrexham look so tired at the moment. Notts County look full of running. Advantage Notts right now.
First! Great second half lads, have to be doing better in the first though..
amazing performance at home!

also look at their number 8 rolling on the floor then getting up and running around completely fine. they got what was coming to them

Didn’t see the ref stop play when Scott went down with a REAL shoulder injury. Time wasting cheat nothing less.
