DN RES is an alter ego for Aron Sanchez who is known for his professional and creative projects Buke and Gase, DEF LAB, and Polyphonic Workshop. Aron has this to say about "CDMX":
"This track is built around a synth sample from a Buke & Gase improv and is part of my exploration in creating groove based music in odd time signatures, in this case 10/8 or 5/4, which, in my opinion, along with 9/8, are totally under used in contemporary dance music and have the potential to yield unique rhythmic explorations uncommon to these genres. This track was also inspired by video footage from a holiday fair in Mexico City."
