This artwork is more contemporary because of the fresh moment in our century. But if you have enough artistic, historical, and spiritual sense, it is easy to get the feeling of synthesis and extension of the spiritual messages through time, yes a feeling really because here, a simple intellectual adaptation was not enough for Fabio Cuffari. As much as I could be disappointed for Fabio's choice in his interpretation of Catherine of Alexandria for which I was disappointed that he diverted his Egyptian type to spoil it once again by a European appearance (which the ignoble colonists did for centuries alas, until the representation of Mary and Jesus), as much here the work is incontestable, at my sense ! Indeed everything is brought together in a masterful way. And, I do not lose sight of the fact that a religious representation is *above all*, a symbolic work to transcend as it happens throughout the reading of the Bible. Artists like Fabio are rare. We have the right to have a negative opinion but it is better to do it with the most justice and at least the reminder of the value of the work accomplished !

The artwork does not belong in this setting. Looks like modern posters. The works lack antiquity.
Yes, I understand. Maybe so. But time will take its course
