I took this flight LH431 but on A340 now they changed it to 747-400 which is sweet

It's good to know that LH 744 has been updated IFE screens even if it's bit small but looks good.

Honestly they are small and laggy. But hey it's better than nothing.

Awesome! I live in Chicago. Made this same flight on the 747-800 before. Didn't know they were using a 400 also. Cool. I also made this same flight on a Lufthansa A340 a couple of times.

That used 747-400 for a few weeks. Now they switched to -800

What's the facial scan in Chicago at the gate for? Is that LH biometrics boarding, or US immigration, or ??
Flying this plane/route in the near future, but the flight seems to be always delayed 😕

I believe when you fly out of O'Hare you always get scanned so probably immigration.
Yes LH out of ORD is always delayed lol

Lufthansa is clinging on to their 747’s for dear life (and rightfully so because they have been largely phased out of passenger service). Oh and FRANKFURT!!
