I pulled her 4.5 and im so happy. Shes so strong. She can deal billions of damage. The only catch is the awakened wind king stance only last 3 turns. So you need backup character that can cast wind king stance and awaken it. Then the party starts again.
Very true. Melody AS and Suzette SA are both great support; they can both set pain and both can provide unlimited awakened wind zones. Congrats on pulling her; she has probably helped me the most out of all characters in the game to date.
I'm adding that in addition to farming, a Sesta team is a great way to level up Manifests. Given we've lot the Exp boosts, Time shifts in the latest Hollow layer AD are what gives the best exp, so give those Manifest to Wind units, and throw them with Sesta
Sesta is easily the MVP of AE. She's so strong and useful, almost brokenly so, that getting new characters is almost irrelevant. I no longer have a need to have so many different teams, Sesta plows through literally everything or almost. There are just a few specifically anti-Sesta bosses now that can hold her off, but that's it.
Just wanna point out that while Tsukiha is not a real free unit, new players do get the chance to obtain her for free after completing certain chapters! (between her and the other unit that I forgot XD)
@@tiramix Yeah, a lot of the changes they made for the recent months prior to the merge really should have stayed. It's daunting for a new player today to be facing 100+ story chapters and the enormous amount of side content, relying completely on luck for characters.
Since I don't have Yipha AS, I find using Azami NS with her Manifest to be useful on the harder fights. She can debuff the enemy's wind resistance, while debuffing their attack or intelligence. Could be a consideration for people who don't have Yipha AS
Great idea! I often play around with Azami AS for pain setting instead of Suzette, Melody, or others. It's all about using who you have, and evaluating any new talent as it appears.
I use her melpiphiphiph sa suz and either soira, Melissa and as melody. Dropped as yipha because, boring. Melpiphiphphpia is awesome. I've found that for longer battles I tend to switch her for more utilities. Sa suzette more utility, melphiphia very flexible and can dmg, melody is melody and soira is soira. Whole point. I struggle keeping sesta around for long term battle
Also your hozuki is equal to my meliphphphia. I will agree hozuki should equal power if not more compared to the church of isuka. It's like a zing. The head banging pow got me.
Suzette SA pumps out pretty respectable damage too, and her stellar burst bolt of bahamut also barrier pierces, but Suzette isn't quite as brain-dead to set up like Sesta is. You're right though, most other elements have a few options to work with. Most wind teams are always Sesta and support.
dont have sesta not even a 4.5 man just missing her for my wind team not that i dont have others but her elemental break is so much required. hope to get her soon
I have sesta... And my team is Soira AS as a tank, Yipha AS to buff either Soira or Sesta, Melody AS to set up zones all the time and buff Sesta's damage, and Sesta... plus 2 katana characters to give grastas to sesta. This is my team to deal with 99% of the bosses and superbosses. The only time i dont use this team, is when either katana or wind is nullfied/absorbed. It dosnt matters if the mob is resist to wind and slash.
It's a great team! I use Melody AS for longer fights and Suzette SA for shorter ones. I'm actually toying with making Soira AS my next video. I know people realize she's good, but I don't think everyone fully realizes how she wants luck and crit rating instead of traditional defensive stats. I've made a few videos with dps characters and one with a support character, so maybe it's time for a tank.
Was gonna say, plz add how to get some of personality grasta. But you did. Could be a video about personality grasta. I know ae adventures and wil mak both have videos on grasta guides but don't have clear cut, personality here, helps here. Also new players probably don't know about pain and poison grasta, which you explain but you know attention spans are small. I've noticed, if I run sa suzette, I can keep all my pain grasta on my thunder team and use poison to fill the holes on my wind. I personally hate moving gratsa around
Like a teaching plan, broken up into bits. Like personality gratsa here for this adding to pain/poison here. Enh/low max hp. I know I was confused where you got all the low hp enh until I randomly found the npc doing the elpis weapons quests. The wiki isn't exactly easy to use without 9+ tabs open.
Excellent idea! I began occasionally tossing in where some stuff is found, but it's usually been offhand comments like, "and I equipped the hp+,speed- badge from toto theatre world" scattered throughout the video. Maybe with my next one I can end the video, or end the gearing part, with a brief screen listing the personalities and where their associated grasta are. In Sesta's case, she doesn't have many personality traits. Avenger's is won by beating the normal version of SD-148, which is accessible once you have Noahxis. A complete list of attack grasta is here: anothereden.wiki/w/Grasta_Attack You can scroll down to the "Almighty Power" section and see where all the personality grasta are found.
Got Melpiphia & Sesta from the anniversary banner. Can I use Melpiphia to replace one of the chars in Sesta team? My current wind team: Sesta, Suzette, Melissa, Garam, back: Tsukiha, Curio.
Congrats on getting both! I've heard very good things about Melpiphia; I'm absolutely sure she could replace someone. I only have her 4-star so I don't have direct experience with her, but I think her future sight get em would be able to replace a support character, and her future sight duck could probably boost Garam's tanking ability so he's not terrible at it. I don't know how strong your Suzette and Melissa are, but if Suzette's main contribution is pain, I'd probably swap her out for Melpiphia. Melissa can take over pain duties, she can use wind divide for pain/poison and glint gale to debuff enemies (making Sesta's attacks stronger). Just thinking out loud, remember I have no experience with her yet.
Thanks! Both of them are awesome. My Suzette is already SA lvl 90, but not Melissa. I only have standard 5* Melissa with low light/shadow. At first I did not have any thought of removing Suzette, since her bolt of bahamut skill + melpi 0 MP for first move makes farming effortless, and she sets pain/poison. Need to SA Melissa then. PS. Your characters' videos are great!
@@ykrewwodnfn Thanks! Technically Garam can set pain too, but since you'll probably want to upgrade from him eventually, you might not want to rely on him for that. I've also heard that since Melpiphia has all those defensive buffs, some fights no longer need tanking, so play around and see what works best for you! Suzette SA is really powerful; I'll be posting my superboss teams very soon with examples of each in action, so you can see how the characters interact with each other and maybe decide where Melpiphia can fit in.
I use garam AS in the team to share grasta with suzette. Mainly sesta and suzette as the main dps. But it seems they are not optimal. Can't wait to see your upcoming videos!
It would likely be difficult. Tsukiha is naturally strong against wind. I tried with my Sesta superboss team and even with Soira faithed from Yipha AS, she still took 37,000 damage from Tsukiha, and that was without Tsu's auras activated. I'd have to play around more, but at a glance, it might not be easy. I had to avoid using piercing attacks (Soira could not fleur brise) and blunt attacks (no An aroir from Yipha) so maybe a different lineup might be better. Possibly making use of Melpiphia and her defenses would work better, but I can't test that.
@@mastershen5058 It somewhat depends on the enemy. Overthrow is based on the enemy's level. Against trash mobs, other weapons may do better. Against superbosses, you typically want Overthrow due to their high level. I don't think turns has anything to do with it.

Elpis typically does more damage due to it having Overthrow. The dryad weapons don't have it.
