    The innovation Way Crossing shows what great solutions can be achieved if road and rail planing work hand in hand. Of course there is a german word for this: "Bauvorleistung".

    I was never sure this plan would come together, but you video clearly shows the commitment to make it all happen. What a huge project this is.

    Your video was a monumental task as well, wow, what a production!
    This is a fantastic project, I hope it will extend between Orlando and the west coast to alleviate interstate congestion to some degree.

    Always enjoy your videos. Cannot wait to see the video from the first train on the route. Heck, I might just fly down to Florida to ride it myself :-) I'm curious where this project ranks all time in the history of Florida in terms of manhours, dollars spent, and dirt moved.

    You did a fantastic job on this video! I'm particularly interested in the Brevard County section and your details are great. I will share with friends to explain what's happening. I'm very excited to see the Virgin trains going through our county and I hope Amtrak can join them on the FEC rails eventually!

    This project will be a great success IMO, providing that Brightline doesn't become known as "Disney Rail" in 20 years time. Their only goal should be to consistently beat cars on medium distance journeys.

    • @RoamingRailfan
      @RoamingRailfan  3 роки тому +2

      This qualifies as “Higher” Speed Rail since it will max out at 125mph. I’ll only do a long video like this once or twice a year since it takes up a lot of editing time that I could use to put out completely new content.

    How does BrightLine profit ? I mean did they get venture and secondary investor funding capital plus stock ? I mean this is serious infrastructure development. I take it there’s state funding and/or ownership as well ?
    - I mean I guess the right of way wasn’t too much to acquire since it was already there such that eminent domain didn’t have to be done ?
