Love Khanyi’s frankness on most things but she’s lying on one thing; bleaching is a sign of self hate and kit just merely body betterment like someone growing muscles through gym. She tries to downplay skin bleaching and trying to normalize it but ppl have been rejecting it for decades. I say this as someone who hates even being called yellow, it’s embarrassing to be defunded by your skin tone especially as Black and people of colour. I’m glad Black SA women aren’t following her much on the bleaching thing, it’s sad. May they stay rejecting it for decades to come. Everything else had me riveted, great interview. Well done to the interviewer and Khanyi being so open👌🏾
