    I really love that you show the muslin sample first and how you adjust to your size! Excellent for me to learn from you! You’re my favorite right now!!!!

    Thank you so much. I really am struggling to get patterns for my size and it is so nice to someone with a fuller body showing how to do this. Patterns for the fuller body never sits the same way it does for the skinny body type.

      they've updated this pattern as well since this review- I'm fairly certain the new plus size range includes the dart I had to add. So I'm interested to see if it sews up similar to my adjustment.

    Hello from western Canada - I just subscribed after watching this video. Excellent job! You are a very good teacher. I'm an experienced sewer however I will be sewing a silk cami for my future daughter-In-Law and will have to do a FAB as well as insert a dart - so am happy with your explanation of your adjustments.

    Thank you for sharing this! I'm making this right now, just finished making a muslim and really confused about the fit. I might need to try drafting my own pattern with all the problems with the fit. I love the fabric that you used!!!

    Very nice Paige! I did a video on how to grade this pattern up, but when I wear it, it rides up, so I think I need to insert some darts, so was interesting to watch your video. Looks lovely on! x

      I tried to avoid doing darts, but alas my boobs wouldn't allow it.

    Looks great ! Well done, love it loose, very flattering. Few people are standard, most sewers are unique and need to make lots of adjustments to get a tried and true. Cashmerrette patterns are a go to for curvy sewers and the other pattern companies need to wake up to the curvy market.
    It is difficult to go into a shop and buy of the rack, and for me that is a huge incentive to be a maker along with the joy of creativity!

      @verypaige8263  5 років тому

      Of course! That's part of the best part of sewing- you can edit the patterns to make sure you're getting the best fit! Cashmerette is great, I'm actually friends with Jenny the owner of the company! She's a sweet heart.

    You are amazing! Was so happy to see the fitting process in action. I feel like I skip through this part, hoping the outcome will just fit. But I am often disappointed that I didn't take the extra time to fit properly. Thank you for this awesome video!

    You always sew what I have my eye on! Will have to try this and see. Did anyone else have trouble with it in CSCC? I'm worried I'll also have to do a ton of fitting but you make it look relatively easy

    • @verypaige8263
      @verypaige8263  5 років тому

      From what I could see in the Curvy Sewing Collective group the general consensus was that you really need to add a dart if you're chestier. I don't think it lays as intended otherwise. It wasn't too complicated. Fitting anything is relatively easy if you make enough toiles!

    Hi! I am sewing the cami now and need the exact same adjustments. I haven’t done a sway back adj before so it was great to see it being done on this exact pattern!! Thanks for sharing. If you do the straps at the back when it is still right sides together the stitching remains on the inside giving a cleaner finish. Have you sewn the curvy pattern version of this released last year?
