Watch the lu dort defense breakdown also instead of armlock try to keep your chest square to the opponent ( you be in a running stance with your legs) that way you’ll be in a legal guarding position and you’ll take contact with your chest I know it sounds buzzard but it’s not as bad as it sounds also if the opponent uses high power you might be able to draw and offensive foul instead of your foul
i think i've seen an espn article where a young andre iguodala said that sometimes he'll contest a shooter by tapping him on the nose as he rises up for a jumper.

Oden Lau he averaged 35 points idiot! he scored 40+ in 1st and 2nd game. He could've won game 1 if he just drive in hard for a lay up and draw a foul. The Bulls during that time was 30 wins 52 losses during the regular season and STILL MANAGE to enter the playoffs. that's how weak that era was.

Hey anobody i really needed help, recently i always get into foul trouble and even though i did everything in this video and most of my steals/blocks are all ball
+Hugo Philbert remember that even the best on-ball defenders only get 1-3 steals a game. Save your steal attempts for when you can afford them or when your team needs them. In the mean time analyze your opponent, so that when the time comes, you will without a doubt get the steal.

Here's my sincere request, would you please make a breakdown video on low post "on ball" defense? Especially when a player who has got more strength to push you inside the paint and draw foul. I knew that the best way to defend low post is to prevent them from getting the ball, but what if i was locked by them behind their body and they got the ball before i am able to get in front of them? How do I not being easily faked by the pump? Really appreciate them Coach.
+Henry Ho That's a very hard scenario to defend. At that point, you will have to give up something. I would suggest just playing straight up and trying to contest the shot. Or get a steep angle of your body to the opponent and force him to make a move to his weak side. You'll see some great examples of this when you watch the NBA, even Gary Payton would do this. Angle your body into them hard and give up the drop step to their weak hand or a jump hook to their weak hand to the inside. Just force them to use a move they will struggle converting over the long haul. Tough spot to be in though. Hopefully this helps some
