Vlog 161: Moreland Saturday Recycle

- Thought I’d put this one up, as it's been a little while since I’ve put up some Dennis action,
This was taken yesterday, in the Friday Area, collections took place on Saturday due to the Good Friday Public Holiday. Here we have Liam in FN20001 on Ryan's run. Ryan was off due to some personal commitments, so I wasn’t sure who and what truck was covering. Luck was on my side and I’m really happy to finally get this truck on film, this is its first appearance on UA-cam. Haven’t been able to film this truck before as I hardly ever see it and don’t really know its runs.
FN20001 is one of 3 2019 Dennis Elite 5 Bucher Gen6 SPORT22 Side loaders Citywide use in the Merri-bek contract, This truck is full-time recycle, but has done all 4 collections, Merri-bek is one of the few councils that still use 22ms on recycling, the smaller body isn’t the best for recycling as it doesn't hold that much, and packs out faster, resulting in more loads and time. I was pretty happy to film this as it's pretty rare to be able to film this truck, and it's taken me so long to get it.
I had other plans already for the day, and not a lot of time, but I made the most of what I had, ending up with this short, but sweet 4min video. Thanks to Liam for being cool with me filming.
Only got FN18101 to get, then I’ve gotten all 16 trucks.

Great video mate, happy easter too you aswell. Just like u i went out just to practise filming. In the end i got the 2 twin dennis on garbage, 2 recycles and dennis on recycle bulk bin! It was great.

Awesome one mate, love the truck! Definitely seems to pack out pretty quickly though. Certainly not a rare sight here haha, we often have single axles on recycle, definitely not as many bin lines though, that was entertaining to watch, cheers mate!
Cheers Mate, Glad you enjoyed, haha yea 22m on recycle packs out real fast, ending up doing an extra load this day, they have this 22m full time recycle, but there's a 35 in the yard, but no one wants to drive that shitbox, logically 35 should be on recycle and this the spare. Bin lines are pretty common here, I know a place with 50+ bins just for recycle. Thanks for the comment
