- sorry but ended up hitting stop instead of pause when making vid. so the car threw out code p0011 and p0016, mobile mechanic told me that this might be the problem but to also note that if there is not enough oil or it's low on oil, can also cause this problem along with the wrong kind of oil added and or filter, just a FYI, this did fix my codes, but a bigger problem came up, had also p0301 come up and it's a misfire cylinder 1 for me, checked the sparkplug and it's wet with oil, so it's off to the mechanic shop because it needs further looking into. now this car was bought for my wife used 2018 with 78k on it, its the only car we have and it has now over 100k, just a back story, hopefully this video helped someone, im not a professional mechanic just like to make vids and post them.
Great video! I was looking for this video for a long time. Most of the cars that they change the VVT solenoid in are 1.8 L cruzes, and the engine seems to be somewhat different.

Hi, yeah someone also asked thus question, the code I got was on the top left side of the engine, I believe also there is exhaust camshaft as well, good luck with your situation 👍

Yes it did but ended up having other issues come up not related to this
What was the other issue ?
@alihaidarian7119 there was a issue with cylinder 1 which was loss of pressure, engine had porcelain in the cylinder for some unknown reason, could have happened before we got the car and slowly caused problems, engine had to be replaced. Thanks for the comment
Don’t they have 2 vvt?
Yes usually 2 if im not mistaken, codes came up for me that this was the problem, not positive but there might be one for the exhaust
