I will agree with ginni but cissily was absolutely cleaned up AFTER he kicked it mate! That's a free kick everyday of the week! He should of tackled! You cannot hip and shoulder a player at full speed even if he has the ball! And it was dangerous a little higher he knocks ciss out! C'mon mate how was that a embarrassing decision! @@mareewalker1096 the location of the kick was the issue, rules have always been if a kick goes out on the full from a late hit, it goes back to where the hit occured, outside 50, and they gave the ball to Bruest, who wasn’t even closest to where the ball went out at all, but conveniently probably their most reliable shot.
@@Littleyeti7 mate ciss can kick 65m if he had the kick he would of kicked at least a point and game over! I hate today's rules I'm an old timer 80s and early 90s was best umpiring! They have ruined the game BUT for 100years you cannot push or hip and shoulder a player AFTER he disposes of the ball! That's a free kick downfield as well as the action happened AFTER he kicked it thats downfield free for 100 years! You can argue who took the kick but punk was in the area so he had around 3 players so how does he decide who takes it! The facts are the better team won! We had no ruck for second half of game and had to put our half back in ruck that should of been taken advantage of by gws but we were to good! There was many free kicks to hawk's and gws that were poor but you cannot question who the better team was! They were not lucky winners they were tuff hard kids with talent giving there heart and soul! Best team won and if ciss had the shot he would of goaled or point that put us in front anyway! I'm with you the umpiring is appalling for all teams and some decisions are affecting results but no way was hawk's kids lucky they fought tuff hard footy and deserved to win! But I worry for our game I really do it's becoming a laughing stock! The constant rule changes every year since mid 90s is a DISGRACE and the reason it's hard to umpire! Back in the 80s holding the ball was simple push in the back was simple holding the man was simple act ect! These deliberate out of bounds stand still on the mark the protected area holding the ball with 10 players on top of you 50m instead of 15m just to much a penalty ! The AFL are criminals! We are the clients we pay to go to games we pay for membership we pay to watch on fox why not ask us about rule changes?? They are destroying the game year after year and the reason the umpires are confused COZ THEY CHANGE THE RULES EVERY OTHER WEEK!
