So which bracelet do you prefer, the original Omega or Forstner 1450 President? Do you own a SMP 300M? What bracelet or strap do you use? I'd love to know!
@@ChrisMarshall1978007 Can’t ever go wrong with a SMP 300M from this era. Great build quality, workhorse movement, and superb styling make it a perfect choice! Can’t wait to see yours when you receive it 🙌🏻
I have this same reference SMP 300m, and also grew tired of the original bracelet. Watch was my daily wear for a long time, so the bracelet was well worn. I ended up replacing it with an OEM Omega 1610/930 Seamaster bracelet, which looks super. Thanks for the video. Another great looking option here, especially all brushed finish and micro adjust clasp.
Gotta go slower on that sticker pull for the ASMR 😆 That's a really nice bracelet and the quick adjustment system is super slick. Definitely a nice look on the Omega.
youtube.com/@faustopadilla3226 Haha, yes I knew this comment was going to come sooner or later. Agreed that it is iconic and I do definitely still enjoy the original bracelet. Just wanted a little change!
Forstner has yet to update their website. I did receive an official answer from them and their 20mm Model J, 20mm Contemporary FL and 20mm 1450 bracelets have the quick adjust clasp. Whether they're in Seamaster, Speedmaster or the Tudor collection it doesn't matter. As long as these three bracelets are 20mm, it'll have the quick-adjust clasp!
The original bracelet isn't bad, it is made well, is extremely comfortable, and is ahead of it's time when compared to other watches in it's era. The design is just a little outdated and I personally wanted something a taper and more of a modern look. Overall, you can't go wrong with either option!
I’ve reached out to Forstner and they still have to update their website. They have verified that the following bracelets now have the new Milled quick adjust clasp for the Omega series. - 20mm 1450 Bracelet - 20mm Model J - 20mm Contemporary Flat Links - Soon to be available for Bullet - For Model O, pending further testing - Then, it'll be separately listed as an accessory So if you are buying a new bracelet from the above list, it’ll come standard with the new clasp. Hope that helps!

It looks so much better than the original bracelet. Thanks for the video.
No problem and agreed! This is a true gem of a find for the Omega community and I’m glad to be able to share it with you all!
Awesome review! Very informative. Thank you. I might just try the same on my Seamaster 😊

The update to their milled clasp actually took me by surprise as it was not advertised. The quick adjustment will be a feature revered by all owners!
Sacrilege!!!! The original omega seamaster bracelet is iconic !

I wonder if their bracelets for Tudor also have the quick adjust clasp? It's not advertised on their site from what I can tell.
