Hiya Sam. I’ve just done my week 3 weigh in and I’m like you where it has been so slow and a little disheartening. My total loss in 3 weeks is now 5lbs. On a normal diet plan, I probably would have lost that anyway as I’m only eating on average 1400 cals a day (some days less, some days more), but I kinda expected more whilst injecting Mounjaro. The good news is that for 3 weeks I haven’t felt the cravings of chocolate, nor have I been “too tired to cook so let’s get a takeaway”! I definitely would have fallen off the wagon by now without Mounjaro, so I believe I’m still winning. I’ve just taken my 4th dose, so let’s see what the scales say next Saturday (when I start on 5mg), and then I’ll do my measurements on the 12th. I’m sure you’ll get your stone in the next two weeks. I’m rooting for you. Px
@@pnut671 thank you so much Paula!! I think slow and steady is the way to go as it is more sustainable when we eventually come off. These videos are actually a little delayed (I am posting on TikTok in real time) and I’m trying to get up to date on here. I’m now on week 10 and hit my stone in 8 week. 🙌🏻 You are doing amazing and the fact the food noise is reduced means the mounjaro is working. Slow and steady wins the race lovely xx
@ I’ve just opened a new Mounjaro based TikTok account so I’ll pop over and follow you there too. I’m so glad you hit the stone mark and I’m happy that I know that already hahaha. Px
Did you pull the injection forward or move it back as it could be a case of adapting to the numbers and you need the higher dose. If you bought the injection forward you will have inadvertently upped the dosage for that period. The lifestyle adjustment will have a larger impact than just the injections but the two together should yield rapid results
@ maybe that is why. I’m not a doctor or anything but maybe your body is going into starvation mode and holding on and storing fat etc. maybe try upping your calories a little bit. I believe there are websites that can help you calculate what the right amount of calories for your own personal deficit should be.
