A volte torno a vedermi in questo buffo passaggio televisivo estero del 1984. A parte ogni parere sul brano, da molti anni mi sono divertita a leggervi qui e la sull'ironico "scalpdore" di questa creativa scappigliatura lombarda anni '80 :) E allora ne parlo dei miei capelli. Ma si, oggi accantono la musica e mi dilungo in frivolo relax da sala aspetto, dopotutto i cambi di look sono stati un altro mio lavoro non indifferente, come per moltissimi degli artisti piu naturalmente ricordati degli anni '80. Per le primissime promozioni italiane, ad inizio 1984, improvvisai con i capelli castani scalati. Poi , praticamente quasi subito, divenni bionda coi capelli più corti lisci tipo a caschetto che poi si allungarono alla spalla con l'aggiunta di una lieve permanente. Il parrucchiere diceva che tornando in biondo mi "addolcivo" il viso...come se non lo fossi gia fin troppo una bimba artista con suoni/movenze e pizzi dolcissimi che oggi definireste quasi a rischio diabete :) Ancora mi chiedo come potessi essere programmata in discoteca, ma bello cosí. Bellissimo, grazie a tutti. In seguito, in alcune trasmissioni televisive, cominciarono ad arruffarmi la testa certi illustri parrucchieri molto creativi ed accreditati. Col secondo singolino GET CLOSER (autunno 1984) cercai di tenerli alle spalle ma piu lisci , come vedete nella copertina del disco originale dove respiro e guardo al cielo e nel retro cover dove sono stesa e c'è anche il mio autografo ( la foto nel front Get Closer ORIGINALE mi fu scattata di nascosto durante le prove sulle scalinate dell'Arena di Verona a Settembre 1984. La adoro.) Ma di nuovo, in alcune trasmissioni televisive, mi venivano accotonati in stile '80... erano dei veri maestri quei parrucchieri, non riuscirei mai a fare stare in piedi gli spaghetti che indosso attualmente! Non mi piacevo con la cofana gonfia, quelle montagne di Tenax e lacca mi facevano impazzire a pettinarli senza prima ungerli :) Nelle tv cercavo di "contenerli" con fularini variopinti avvolti a caramella sul mio bel crapino in perenne cortese ribellione esterna ed interna :). In seguito volli fare colpi di sole azzurri che ebbi circa nella seconda metà del 1985 con il mio terzo singolo IT'S SO EASY. In realtà il parrucchiere lottó giorni coi decoloranti perchè io li volevo tutti grigi, ma non si decoloravano come volevo e allora decisi di fare delicatissimi colpi di sole azzurrini che erano uno spettacolo, elegantissimi. Il mio primo vero video clip lo feci in un castello proprio con It's so easy. Successivamente, con la promozione di LANCELOT primo singolo dal mio unico LP THE LEGEND 1986 , cominciai a presentarmi in tv con dei capelli nerineri. In sala regia mi dissero ci fu una rivolta del carissimo patron sempre nel mio cuore Vittorio Salvetti, organizzatore di Azzurro e Festivalbar, che tra il gioco e il non gioco mi preferiva televisivamente biondina. Anche la sua dolcissima moglie era concorde. :) Ed effettivamente non avevano tutti i torti , quindi decisi di addolcirmi riportandomi al castano mio naturale. Talvolta con Lancelot riuscirono ad arruffarmeli ancora, assurdo ma era davvero di moda e la copertina originale dell'LP lo dimostra davanti e dietro :) Ma poi con il secondo singolo tratto da THE LEGEND , KING ARTHUR, feci il mio secondo video clip e, proprio durante quei giorni di riprese, fu assunto un molto importante ed adorabile dj italiano che allora era un importante ed innovativo parrucchiere visibile in parte anche nel mio video. Lui mi fece la frangetta e taglió simmetrici ad altezza collo pochi ciuffi nel contorno viso, lasciandomi lisci e lunghilunghi tutti gli altri. Bellissimi, ero veramente caruccia in quel video. Poi restai e sono restata piu o meno simile a quel taglio che fu perfetto anche per lo stile collegiale che scelsi per il mio ultimo disco degli "anni '80" mix/45/strumentale WRONG DIRECTION 1988 di mia proprietà inciso ed autoprodotto a Londra col mio ex marito Mauro Zavagli nel 1987 (a riguardo, scusate ma colgo l'occasione e lancio anche qui la richiesa di un contatto che cerco da anni con il magistrale tecnico Ralph Ruppert e il validissimo'autore Dave Libby). Nella copertina con fondo rosso di Wrong Direction, maturai che sembravo un po troppo matura e seria. E allora decisi di non far la professoressa in copertina ma l'alunna collegiale che vedete nei passaggi televisivi. Un paio di anni fa mi feci una foto con la copertina di Wrong Direction in mano; oggi si che mi assomiglio moltissimo a quella foto da professoressa! :) Per anni poi io ed i miei colleghi 80 abbiamo fatto serate e promozioni estere, tutti noi subimmo il naturalissimo cambio dei tempi. Personalmente viaggia anche i libera in autostop nel terzo mondo... con non vi dico quali capelli accomodati da cuscini pulciosi :). Il nostro sound 80 in Italia ebbe il naturale disinteresse discografico sino al risveglio revival. Nel 2006, prima del preveggente ed intimistico "HOW DO I GET TO MARS?" pubblicato solo nella compilation underground "congarbo", mi ero mostrata molto simile alle promozioni tv di Wrong direction: lisci e lunghi ma con un musino un po sciupato da anni di sigarette e problemi, speranzosamente avvolto in un tripudio di farfalline sparse in testa (2005). RIguardo capelli e le mie apparizioni o cose fatte in questi anni che erano già pubblicate, vedo poco perchè mi dicono ci siano state incursioni di chi pare ambisca essere me dopo avere inventato e diffuso ingiuste falsità. Ho tutto e quindi no problem. Su per giu resto simile al 1988 del mio Wrong Direction , ovviamente piu stropicciata e piû "maturetta". Talvolta mi ringiovanisco un zic con codini o treccine ...ci tento, mi difendo ma ho la mia età ed oggi non ho incontrato un benefico chirurgo tiraquaesvuotala scaccia età...help! :). Ma , tornando a questa ripresa tanto buffa di The night del 1984 con vestitino in pizzo ( e cintura poi rubatami da uno tra i miei numerosi ladri di vestiti nei camerini :) , ero sicuramente passata sotto le mani di un parrucchiere folle assunto dalla tv estera dove registrai questo passaggio televisivo ...che non è uno specifico video clip, solo un passaggio televisivo fatto in una trasmissione di pazzeschi fantastici creativi 80.. Ringrazio i musicisti nel video, anche loro chiaramente ben strapazzati dallo stesso parrucchiere :). Bene, mi sono dilungata, chiacchierata fatta tra i caschi del parrucchiere :) ...ma anche i professionisti di storia e look è bene abbiano delle futili curiosità dell''epoca. Avevo voglia di sorridervi un po, spero di avervi fatto gradevole compagnia. Baciotto a tutti, viva la musica. Ah! IO NON HO MAI AVUTO UN MIO SOCIAL DIRETTO CON VOI. CERCHERÒ DI RIMEDIARE. Dieses und natürlich viele andere Lieder der 80er bringen mich zumindest gedanklich zurück nach damals. Ich bin Baujahr 68. Wie gern wäre ich nochmal da. Alles unbeschwert, erste Liebe, Ausbildung, das erste Auto, der Übergang ins Erwachsenenleben. Keine Probleme, die Zukunft positiv vor Augen.
Keine Smartphones, praktisch keine Computer, einen C64 konnten sich meine Eltern nicht leisten. Telefone hatten Drehscheiben und Kabel. Wer das erste schnurlose Telefon für zuhause hatte war der High Tech Nerd schlechthin. Die beste Zeit die es je gab. Es war vorher gut aber anders, es war nachher ( so ab Anfang 2000 m.M.nach) nicht mehr annähernd so gut. Alle Veränderungen, Euro Einführung, Anschlag WTC etc.. Das waren Schlussstriche einer einfach unglaublich geilen Zeit die es nie mehr so geben wird. Ich bin so froh zu der Generation zu gehören die damals aufwachsen durfte.

Ich hätte das auch unter 1000 andere Songs von damals schreiben können. Das es dieser geworden ist, ist Zufall. Viele mochten diesen Italo Kitsch damals gar nicht. Ich fands ganz ok.
Konzerte hab ich aber eher von z.B. Phil Collins oder Genesis bevorzugt. Bei Roxette war ich mal mit einer Freundin.
Ich war in Hagen in der Berufsschule...in der zwei oder drei Jahre vorher auch eine gewisse Nena Kerner war...coole Sache.

In questo bruttissimo periodo di questo maledetto coronavirus,in cui tutti siamo costretti di rimanere nelle nostre case,anche per evitare che i contagi aumentino drammaticamente,sto ascoltando queste bellissime canzoni che mi riportano ai miei tempi della mia giovinezza (anni 70*80), anni in cui iniziavano i primi batticuori e le prime schermaglie amorose e nei quali anni riuscivamo a trascorrere sere d'estate,nelle bellissime piazzette dei nostri Paesi.Giocando con un pallone e raccontandoci tantissime barzellette.
Se qualcuno degli amici che con me hanno trascorso quelle bellissime serate leggesse questo mio commento, sono sicurissimo che si ricorderebbe come eravamo allegri e spensierati,ma soprattutto come si riusciva a passare il tempo con pochi soldi in tasca,ma soprattutto con tanta amicizia!Tempi che purtroppo per loro,i giovani del giorno d'oggi,difficilmente potranno rivivere i nostri meravigliosi anni 70*80,perchè tutto è cambiato tragicamente,ne stiamo subendo le conseguenze!!

I remember going from Factoryville, Pennsylvania to Allentown, Pennsylvania down to see my Grandma and Grandpa and I used to hear this song on a disco radio station in the Philadelphia Area. when Dad was driving the blue 1986 FORD ESCORT SEDAN. Even after Grandma and Grandpa sold their house on NOVEMBER OF 1994. Whenever I hear this song I remember going down seeing the area. Almost 25 years ago. WOW, How time has changed.
