I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you. Your tips go far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced with any of my physical therapists. Your exercise for lower back pain has helped me so tremendously. I am going to sign up soon for your classes.

I love these tips! I exercise regularly to help with my MS symptoms, but first thing in the morning I am a bit ‘wooden’ in my movements. I will definitely try to warm up a bit before jumping out of bed. Thanks Dr. Gretchen!

Thanks. I do these movements when I start moving. It helps reduce the “Frankenstein walk”. I do them while on our MSing link calls too.

This isn’t a MS-specific problem. This happens to a lot of people who sit in a plane, train, or car for a long period of time.

Respectfully, yes, you are correct. But what’s your point? This may or may not be applicable for you, however, it’s FREE quality MS information for those who CAN possibly benefit from Dr Gretchen’s information. Just TRY and be grateful.. it may be tough for anyone devastated with MS, but TRY. Good luck

I didn’t say that I wasn’t grateful. I’m always grateful for Dr. Hawley’s videos. I was just pointing out that even people who don’t have MS have this problem. Although the channel is intended for people with MS, it’s also beneficial for people who want to alleviate aches and pains. In fact, many of her exercises are Pilates exercises.

Hi there! I appreciate you sharing what you are going through. Unfortunately, without an in-person evaluation it is difficult to answer this question.

I find it SO hard to do your exercises with my left leg - it just WON'T lift, and I cant use it when trying to walk. Can you suggest an exercise that will strengthen my left leg, please?
    Many thanks.

Why the sole of my feet feel as though I am standing on rubber..?.this causes me to have ataxia I use a walker for balance. I am considering botox.

When the sole of our feet feel different (ie. numb, tingling, etc.) then it’s a sensory change. Therefore desensitization exercises may be helpful! I have a video on my page about this - search for “desensitization” and you should find a few.
