How to get in the trunk of a Mercedes S550 when there's no power

I locked my key in the trunk of my Meredes S550 and had no power.This is what i did

I had no mechanical/ blade key. Just taken battery out and trunk closed. Due to your post I just put in key fob, one turn and the doors unlocked, all lights exterior and interior powered on. I quickly went and unlatched trunk. Thanks.
