I know this sound stupid but even tho I'm american from a European decent can I still try this sport and will i get judged?
In my experience, my teachers have never had any issue teaching people from all sorts of backgrounds so long as the person is hard-working, patient, respectful, and a good person.
People tend to judge others no matter what you activity you choose, or what you look like. So don't let that stop you. If you love the art, search out a teacher and just go for it! :)

Yes, yes, and yes! :) Lions are very lucky creatures, and they share you luck with everyone. If you get hit with lettuce, you will also get boosts of luck, but its not advised you eat the same veggies that the lions did. ^^'

Its definitely recommended that you have kung fu experience first. Lion dancing has been used as a training tool for Kung fu schools since its origin many many years ago. The better kung fu practitioner you are, the better lion dancer you will be as conventional wisdom goes.

Hm... first I would increase food portions. They may not show it, but lions get hungry a lot! They eat mainly lettuce after all, and are large creatures so they need to consume a lot of it! While doing this, keep the red packets out of reach so he won't be tempted. That way when he is good about staying off the bed you can reward him for positive behavior! Good luck and have patience - Lions are very intelligent, but they sometimes have a hard time communicating what they need. That is... unless you're Mei Shui. HAHA!

Haha, sorry... Mei Shui isn't for sale. Lions are very loyal creatures and any experienced tamer develops a deep bond with his/her lions. As much work as they are, I can't imagine life without my lion family. ^-^

Our school specializes in traditional Chinese lion dancing. Depending on the area or the style, lion dance drumming and routines may vary, so that may be why your drumming sounds different! :D
btw Fu Huo is a malaysian lion

They are named Hok-san, or He-Shan, based on the area of China where they originated from. They are built to be lighter, and as a result are often preferred by many schools and troupes, particularly for competition purposes.

Mei Shui is the older female lion. She is also a Fut-San make (traditional) Fu Huo is her little brother! :3 He is a Hok-San lion.
