Okay hold up. You said First: case number issued. Second: case is forwarded to embassy. My noa2 was approved 4 months ago and I've YET to receive a case number. My understanding was the case gets sent to embassy first and then they'll assign a case number am I wrong?

NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate (the status is Ready on CEAC now). The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition. Our petition was approved on Feb 6th. form the USCIS.. It's been 4 weeks now and haven't received anything from the NVC. How much longer should I wait? How long until we get the Notice of action? I heard it's a 5-8 week wait. We got approved within 3 months of the USCIS receiving our petition. They said it will be processed in New Hampshire and sent to Manila.
If USCIS said that that it will be processed in New Hampshire, most likely your petition is in NVC phase but NVC only assign a Case number which only takes a week or two. The long wait is the transfer from NVC to Manila. Have you tried tracking your case using the tracker? ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx If it says READY, then your benefeciary may now move on to the next step.
Okay one question Is the prisoner needs to be or stay in America during the process of k1 visa? Cab hw or she travel to his or her fiance country in the meantime?

Hello Alexis, make sure that the number you use is the case number from National Visa Center and not the Receipt Number. You only get the NVC case number when your petition has been approved and you have the NVC onhand sent in your mail. It usually starts with 3 digit letters followed by numbers..
Jolly Sogard it is a case number it starts with the three digit letter and this year and the remain 6 numbers , however when I try to track it ,it says that it is an invalid case number ...& so maybe I thought that my case is still not at the embassy that’s why I’m totally confused !
Someone reached out to me with the same situation and some says "no status" it never happened before, it looks like the NVC is completely out of control. Many cases are totally behind. For now just hang on to that case number and check back time to time. You don't have to worry about checking it. Your fiancee will receive a letter or email from US Embassy if the NVC goes forward with your case and your application is successfully sent to your fiancee's homecountry.

@@alexismartinez-ll6is if you are the petitioner the last letter you'll get is the NVC. yes it's true. It's called the Eligibility letter. The beneficiary (your fiancee) will receive it, not you. That letter will give her instructions on how to schedule the medical, how to pay the visa fee and book her visa interview.

Can you do a video about if the petitioner is receiving housing assistance? Do they have to be off assistance before sending the application? Can you wait until the beneficiary is approved to get off assistance? What are the sponsor requirements?
Hello Deja, receiving a housing assistance is considered a Federal Aid. If you take a look at the new Public Charge Rule, there is a high chance that the petition will get rejected but it is still up to the adjudication of USCIS to make the final decision.
Don't lose hope. It may not be the right time yet but if you keep working hard, increase your income and eventually get off from public assistance, there can be light.

My K1 visa petition to my Fiancee' in the Phil. was approved last May 2020 and I got the NOA2 in the mail, but according to the NVC, it can not forward my application to Manila Embassy due to the closure. My notice of approval (NOA2) would expire this coming September 2020 and I don't have a case number yet. Could I do the DS-160 online visa application without a case number? Do you think my NOA2 visa application would be automatically extended? Any information or idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.
Hi Duke, yes your NOA2 will be automatically extended so no worries. You can't complete DS 160 without the case number so it's better to wait until you have it and it says Ready on ceac tracker.

your petitioner will receive a letter from NVC. The letter will give you further instructions moving forward. For now, you just have to wait for that letter.
So i checked our status and the case did not be found under non immigrant but then i checked the immigrant box and it appears there also it says "ready" does my fiance select nonimmigrant for the DS160?

Hello Angoh, if you have citizenship or permanent residency on that country then yes. If not, there is no guarantee that their Embassy will accept your application. However, you can call or email their Embassy to confirm. Another simple oprion is to do it at your homecountry to avoid problems.
Best thing you can do is call their Embassy to confirm if they will take your application. As far as I know, every Embassy reserves the right to accept or deny the application of an applicant who is considered an alien resident. I don't know much about the rules in Turkey so I won't be able to give you an exact Yes or No answer.

Hello sis, salamat. Okay naman kami dito. Sis pag umuwi ka ng Pinas at mag apply for tourist visa very slim ang chance na makakabalik ka ng US kasi magkaka red flag ka sa Consul. Sa Prenup naman sis, kahit may nuptial agreement kargo ka pa rin ng fiance mo kahit anong mangyari kasi may pinirmahan siyang agreement nong nag file siya ng petition para sayo unless mag back out kayo at wag ituloy ang kasal. Ang problema nga lang kelangan mo umuwi ng Pinas after ng visa expiration. Wala akong kakilala na nagprenup sis pero mas mabuti na sundin niyo advice ng immigration lawyer at pag usapan ang next plan niyo. Sana maayos niyo agad sis.
Our case has been approved and is sitting at the NVC. We were able to obtain our Case # as well as an invoice number. We have the I-797 which has expired already. We never received a welcome letter or the Packet 3. My question is, can we go ahead and do the DS-160?
@@emilleyva774 HI Emil. I have already submitted my DS-160 and received an Appointment email from thr Condulate. My case was approved and issued the K-Visa. I am now living abroad and just have to finish the last process to become a Permanent Resident. Hope I answered your question.
@@emilleyva774 Yes. Go ahead and do the DS-160. Once completed online it will give you the Comfirmation #. Then you can go ahead and gather your documents for the Packet 3 Check list. Once gathered you can email them the Confirmation page of the DS-160 along with the other requested documents found in the Packet 3 Check list. Then they will email you your appointment.

Also, he will send these forms to you and you can bring it at your interview after the petetion gets approved. Hello po, kung ready na po ang case number niyo sa ceac tracker online meaning po nasa manila embassy na ang papeles niyo at ready na for interview. Pero close po kasi ang embassy ngayon so mayroon pong expected major delay. Baka mga month of May niyo pa po mareceive ang email or mail from manila embassy. Pwede niyo pong tawagan ang Manila Embassy as soon as operational po sila ulit to confirm po.

At the moment, the current wait for approval of I129F Petition is 3 to 8 months, you guys are still in the waiting game. Waiting sucks but hang on there, everythkng will be worth it. If you visit the USCIS processing times, it will tell you what cases and filling date they are currently working on. I am not sure how often they do the updates but at least they give you some ideas so you can come up with an estimate. Hopefully you get an update soon. egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Hello po, base po sa mga nababasa ko sa forums, marami pong ofw na nag apply for k1 visa at umuuwi sila ng Pinas kapag na aaprove na at naimbentahan na sila sa Manila US Embassy.
I believe every country has their own department of foreign affairs and applicants can request for an expedited passport as long as there is valid reason.

Can you do a video about if the petitioner is receiving housing assistance? Do they have to be off assistance before sending the application? Can you wait until the beneficiary is approved to get off assistance? What are the sponsor requirements?
Hello Deja, receiving a housing assistance is considered a Federal Aid. If you take a look at the new Public Charge Rule, there is a high chance that the petition will get rejected but it is still up to the adjudication of USCIS to make the final decision.
Jolly Sogard I called uscis and she said I need to be off of any aid at the time of applying. So.....guess my husband will never make it here :(
Don't lose hope. It may not be the right time yet but if you keep working hard, increase your income and eventually get off from public assistance, there can be light.

My K1 visa petition to my Fiancee' in the Phil. was approved last May 2020 and I got the NOA2 in the mail, but according to the NVC, it can not forward my application to Manila Embassy due to the closure. My notice of approval (NOA2) would expire this coming September 2020 and I don't have a case number yet. Could I do the DS-160 online visa application without a case number? Do you think my NOA2 visa application would be automatically extended? Any information or idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.
Hi Duke, yes your NOA2 will be automatically extended so no worries. You can't complete DS 160 without the case number so it's better to wait until you have it and it says Ready on ceac tracker.

your petitioner will receive a letter from NVC. The letter will give you further instructions moving forward. For now, you just have to wait for that letter.

Hello Angoh, if you have citizenship or permanent residency on that country then yes. If not, there is no guarantee that their Embassy will accept your application. However, you can call or email their Embassy to confirm. Another simple oprion is to do it at your homecountry to avoid problems.

Best thing you can do is call their Embassy to confirm if they will take your application. As far as I know, every Embassy reserves the right to accept or deny the application of an applicant who is considered an alien resident. I don't know much about the rules in Turkey so I won't be able to give you an exact Yes or No answer.

usually the transit takes 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the destination and how fast the US Embassy location process things..

Gusto ni F ko ng prenup agreement at ayon sa immigration lawyer na kinonsulta ng F ko pwd namn daw ang prenup pero magiging pointless pa rin kasi if ever mag divorce responsibilidad parin nya ako. Na trauma na kasi ang F ko hnd sya nka pag prenup agreement dati at nung nag divorce sila ng asawa nya mas malaki nakuha ng asawa nya. Para lng tlga sa seguridad nya kaya gusto nya ng prenup. Plan ni F na uuwi nlng ako sa pinas before mag expire visa ko at mag apply nlng daw kmi ng tourist visa. Hello sis, salamat. Okay naman kami dito. Sis pag umuwi ka ng Pinas at mag apply for tourist visa very slim ang chance na makakabalik ka ng US kasi magkaka red flag ka sa Consul. Sa Prenup naman sis, kahit may nuptial agreement kargo ka pa rin ng fiance mo kahit anong mangyari kasi may pinirmahan siyang agreement nong nag file siya ng petition para sayo unless mag back out kayo at wag ituloy ang kasal. Ang problema nga lang kelangan mo umuwi ng Pinas after ng visa expiration. Wala akong kakilala na nagprenup sis pero mas mabuti na sundin niyo advice ng immigration lawyer at pag usapan ang next plan niyo. Sana maayos niyo agad sis.
Our case has been approved and is sitting at the NVC. We were able to obtain our Case # as well as an invoice number. We have the I-797 which has expired already. We never received a welcome letter or the Packet 3. My question is, can we go ahead and do the DS-160?

@@emilleyva774 HI Emil. I have already submitted my DS-160 and received an Appointment email from thr Condulate. My case was approved and issued the K-Visa. I am now living abroad and just have to finish the last process to become a Permanent Resident. Hope I answered your question.

@@emilleyva774 Yes. Go ahead and do the DS-160. Once completed online it will give you the Comfirmation #. Then you can go ahead and gather your documents for the Packet 3 Check list. Once gathered you can email them the Confirmation page of the DS-160 along with the other requested documents found in the Packet 3 Check list. Then they will email you your appointment.

Hello, the Affidavit of Support and related financial documents are not included in the filing of petition. Also, he will send these forms to you and you can bring it at your interview after the petetion gets approved. Hello po, kung ready na po ang case number niyo sa ceac tracker online meaning po nasa manila embassy na ang papeles niyo at ready na for interview. Pero close po kasi ang embassy ngayon so mayroon pong expected major delay. Baka mga month of May niyo pa po mareceive ang email or mail from manila embassy. Pwede niyo pong tawagan ang Manila Embassy as soon as operational po sila ulit to confirm po.

At the moment, the current wait for approval of I129F Petition is 3 to 8 months, you guys are still in the waiting game. Waiting sucks but hang on there, everythkng will be worth it.
If you visit the USCIS processing times, it will tell you what cases and filling date they are currently working on. I am not sure how often they do the updates but at least they give you some ideas so you can come up with an estimate. Hopefully you get an update soon. egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

I believe every country has their own department of foreign affairs and applicants can request for an expedited passport as long as there is valid reason.
