If you are confident with soft plastics, just some small 4" grubs of prawns such as Gulp work well on the small but numerous drain barra. For the better fish in the snags, a barra lure such as the RMG Scorpion or Reidy's B52 are great. Just shallow diving lures in that style. Having a barra lure and a soft plastic will cover all bases. Good luck mate. Wardy
@wardysfishing9403 thanks Mate, appreciate the response. Looking forward to heading up there and exploring some new country. Very informative and entertaining videos Mate.
@@80ZX With the road up here, the graders and road crews are constantly working on it. There is only 200klms of dirt left and it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. The sections that are about to be redone will be bad and the sections just done will be great but overall, it is never too bad anymore. Wardy
I saw a couple called the boonies using these up at cape york and were catching fish on them.🤠👌🎣👍🤙✅️
They work very well. Jackel make suspending lures and real good ones but they dive too deep for the shallow water up here on the edges.
Are these a prototype ?
Not a prototype. These are available but I know they can be hard to find as most anglers like a floating lure.
Hi Mate, heading up your way, start September from Victoria, so a complete novice. What would be a couple of different go-to lures for up your way ?

@@80ZX Thanks mate. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Happy to help.
@wardysfishing9403 might touch base mid August and get a road update if that's OK Mate.
