  • A one-day workshop, sponsored by Texas AgriLife Extension and held in the small southeast Texas town of West Columbia, explored the new problem of a tiny ant that rivals the fire ant as a pest. Our field trip revealed an ant that appears capable of overwhelming other ants and insects in natural as well as human environments.

    Exotic crazy ants now pretty much range along the Gulf Coast from Brownsville to Miami...

    Do these things have any natural predators in the Caribbean? What keeps their numbers in check in their original habitat? Are they susceptible to any kind of bacteria or fungi? Sounds like something straight out of a horror flick!

    Pretty sure I have a few million of these in my backyard. Probably got them from some potted plants I got at Home Depot.

    They will take the GRITS inside the nest to the Queens.....
    The GRITS will expand and BLOW THEM UP......
