I started a no wish acc a few days ago and it's really fun playing w only free characters since I never use them on my main acc. Seeing their potential is so interesting.
I'm just coming back to the game and despite my f2p luck being serviceable on the old account, I'm also interested in trying the no wish account playstyle. Maybe it'll make me better at the mechanics and progression? Who knows.
I'm still at a point on my main where I don't have a solid a and b team it's just like 1 main do's and an assortment of util and subs I rotate as needed. I can see the structure of knowing who you have and having the teams pretty set being advantageous for building characters.
Like if u get someone better than kequing I'm basically at square 1/ WL0
@@BRoyce69 The reason I started it is because... On my main I got lucky, but besides that luck my partner also bought me primos from time to time if I needed it.
That resulted in having a lot of limited banner 5 stars and 4 stars which are all half built. I only have one good and consistent dps and that would be Hu Tao. Everyone else is just decent but nowhere near their full potential.
That's why I thought if I was already limited with the character selection, I'd be forced to build them properly and carefully pick a team that works because Im not gonna have a c4 hu tao w homa and just go unga bunga and everything is dead.

I started doing this too and i reached AR45 but then i got a stupid idea.. my goal was the same as yours, but then i wanted to see how many primogems can i save without spending so far i got 82K gem it's about 510+ pulls, and i still want to go further, but i have to wait for new updates cuz i did everything. Maybe i stop when i reach 1000 Fates, hwo knows haha
oh thats nice and you do you and you should probably record your pulls or something like you reaching 1000 pulls i would like to see what you get

I did the same thing when I first started with genshin. I made so many mistakes mainly because I had no idea how the mechanics of genshin really worked.
It wasn't until I made my 3rd account did I fully start to understand the importance of well characters synergize with each other, elemental reactions ect. Around this I discovered that multiple UA-camrs do really well detailed videos on character building that's so helpful!
I'm definitely no pro yet but I'm a much smarter player now and im learning that I don't have to go for every single limited character banner if I already have a 4 star that can do the same thing! Currently saving my primos for raiden & zhongli
It's really fun when you know what you're doing! Though the process of discovering the game is also very nice and rewarding. And yeah, I'm also on my way to saving up for a special few characters! Especially on my main account.
yeah same, my team was as unoptimized as you can get. I got Diluc early, so i ran him with keaya, and just went unga-bunga with dilucs e up until about AR 46... then i got nahida and got really into hyperbloom so i had to learn how the game actually works
also didnt learn about leveling talents until AR 45.. and i was to weak to clear bosses.. so all my characters were like Level 50-60 with level 0 talents..... no wonder i kept dying
Aquila Favonia for your Bennet! It's the most number of Base atk for a 5star weapon. It's the best slot weapon for benny

Watching this while farming domains for my no wishing account, I started this account back in January and its only honestly really fun, I'm currently on AR43 and with 19k primogems.

I did this as well, but I didn't wish until AR50. Among the 5 stars I got when I finally wished, I had got c1 Qiqi.
I would like to also add that I don't even have c0 Qiqi on my main account :/

just a little tip: Slingshot R5 is better than Rust on Yoimiya before Rust reaches R4, so if you dont plan on pulling on weapon banner when Rust is featured, then Slingshot probably a better choice, especially when you are lacking some Crit Rate, 46% is a bit too low.
She's actually now on 65 crit rate and 160 crit damage! But I might actually try that and level up my slingshot soon. Thank you for the tip!

Me at ar 37 with ganyu hutao jean and raiden f2p i was like im gonna start a no wish account but then lost 50/50 to jean so i speedran from ar 15 to 37 in 4 days and got 77 wishes and finally got raiden last night so happy rn

You can also wish with primogems but u need 16k primo to wish for 10 and 160 on 1pull

certainly an adventure nowish though im not recording mine. as one who is dedicating to nowish (no noelle, and mining had to be done by plunge attacking over and over. same effect as a single claymore swing), i can definitely say that while its a lot of fun, you very quickly start to hit the point of nothing to do when your dps starts to hit their caps and you have a legitimate threat of maxing everyone you get. current progress is ar60, everyone i do have bar collei and dori have a min talent of 9 at 90 and at least 1 crown. ar 45-50 is a good point to stop doing nowish because of how much longer it takes to do things in comparison to a normal account. my goal is nowish till at least all of teyvat is out.

I see a lot of these f2p reaching level 45+ have really garbage artifacts. I wonder why that is? What do you do with the resin you get daily and have to spend? I would think f2p would have the absolute best artifacts if you're using the daily resin! You wouldn't be using that resin for ascending a ton of characters, weapons, or talents since you would have a lot less of them than dolphins and whales.
Great video nonetheless, great patience for not doing any wishes! I couldn't do that haha
you don't get good artifact drops until after ar45, they're all 4 stars, so it isn't worth farming, that's why people don't do it, ergo their artifacts are bad most of the time

What the other comments said! I've spend my resin daily but I mostly farmed bosses, laylines and the other non artifact domains :)
also even once you're past AR 45+, artifact luck is still terrible. whales have no problem using fragile resin or even primos for resin, so they can actually get better artifacts faster
Only good thing on standard banner is weapon cause we can get standard characters from 50/50 on event banner too

F2P players usually censor UID because some people will actually buy them stuff using Codashop. It kills their F2P status.
