A camera can catch images but not the feelings. An artist has to do with feelings not to do with images. Artist can replace the camera but the camera can't replace the artist. The drawing is such that it draws all my attention, it touches my heart. A realistic picture is not a photocopy but it is the life speaking through the strockes of the brush. Mind-blowing art. Fantastic! Bet you're one incredible make-up artist also! Hollywood wants you! I've always been awed by portrait and human figure artwork and artists, being a wildlife and landscape artist myself, in general, amateur, though often wish I had done it professionally, after starting at age 5, and with a mom who did some commercial artwork. She loved your kind of work. But she talked me into becoming a doctor instead. 😢 But at least I get to read pictures all day as a radiologist. I see below the skin more than the exterior. It's kinda cool, cuz God sees us that way also, and came up with the whole design!

I only work in watercolor so far. Your fantastic piece here makes me want to try oils. Wonderful to be able to put Highlights on instead of saving all the white you're going to need for later. It's hard to determine that.

Gee, I thought I was good when I was young with 2b thru 6b pencils, these people put me to shame, absolutely outstanding work, I've seen this lady and a few others on you tube here, and they are absolute Masters! in every Artistic sense of the word!!!
You're so talented. People who can draw like this are just wired to do it. It doesn't seem possible to teach anyone how to do it; it takes training, but the raw talent MUST be there. You "see" things just like a top musician "hears" things that others just don't. Bravo on your superior skills. I can't even draw a conclusion.

A lovely portrait Isabelle and a lovely example of alla prima. It has so much more life than just a hyper realistic image. Inspiring!
I know it's a bit confusing... In fact Paul, an Alla Prima painting is executed in a single sitting. In this case, I rather used a glazing technique where several coats were applied, letting it dry each time, requiring several weeks of work... I hope I've been able to clarify this for you!
@@IsabelleRichardArt Yes probably loosely applied to its meaning considering some of the styles today, probably more of a limited palette technique. I know many Artists who use an Alla prima methodology but obviously layer from the blocking in stage to putting the fine details in at the end. Really it is whatever works for you the artist, just great to see Artists doing their thing. I love connecting with Artists especially as an Art Teacher and Designer as it inspires my students. I am also married to one. All the very best for 2021 :)

(Especially the eyes) The second is Annabella Sciorra! By the way, she is painting in the movie "What Dreams May Come" And the music from your video is very similar to the music from this wonderful movie!

Ну, как что?.. и даже, вистимо, кто... Это те ,, художники", которым никогда не дотянуться до таких высот, и которые в унисон поют, как не нравится им реалистическая живопись, эти, как они говорят, выписанные лица и цветочки-лепесточки... те, которые тяп-ляп..и за полчаса чего-нибудь ,,нафигачат", а потом умиляются своими такими творениями: якобы, кубизмы, абстракционизмы,супрематизмы.. ну, и прочей, совершенно не красивой, мазнёй.))
