- Walking through the Mary Quant Exhibition at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. The innovative English designer launched a fashion revolution on the British High street, with mini skirts, hot pants, A-line dresses, as well as make up and tights. This major retrospective focuses on the designer’s early years. The show runs to February 2020, and regular entrance costs £12.

I love those A-line cuts to this day. A bit like Bauhaus, which is now 100 years old, it doesn’t seem to date. My mother and grandmother could both sew. Nobody seems to bother any more.

I know, I get a bit grumpy when there are so many people, and they get annoyed when I stand in the way filming.
I’m not a fan of huge crowds either, but as long as they allow filming you have every right to be elbow to elbow them them..lol..but I do understand what you mean..talk soon!

That’s true. Fortunately I have a Friends membership. Another advantage is getting in in the first place. The exhibition was sold out, and without a membership I would not have gotten in today.
