That entire cast deserves *at least* nominations. Ali, and the actors playing “Danny”, “Paul”, “George” “Fumi” AND “June”. Best new Netflix show this year. Was a TOTAL surprise. Ya go in thinking it’s gonna be about one thing, but then BOOM it’s not AT ALL what I expected and I LOVED it!!!
She did win a Golden Globe (I loathe the shape of the award - gag!) And her beau Bill Hader was there with her! :D
Binged all of Beef today without meaning to. It's an absolutely fantastic, unique, hilarious show.
She and Steven Yuen are AMAZING in Beef. They both have such range, and the screenplay itself is such layered, human drama!
Confident, intelligent, seriously funny, and drop dead gorgeous!

This guy doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is a far better host than his peers. Doesn't seem contrived or fake at all.

I'm a big fan of Ali, so that's all it would have taken for me to watch Beef. But then we get Steven too, and such a juicy premise. It was fantastic.

In my humble opinion.... Staying positive is very important when dealing with negative thoughts /feelings/situations. Generally it's a good advice. It keeps you balanced. But there's a but.... To try n cut off someone bcs they're feeling negative is just denying their feelings which is terrible. It makes them feel unworthy of your attention and unheard.
This man had no time and willingness to understand her point of view.
This is a great show. It talks about anger, the ticking bomb, when it's not expressed.

****Spoilers for beef**** Honestly George wasn't a good fit for her, he's well-intentioned for the most part but he never really got her, he's super focused on "being positive" that he wouldn't truly listen to her and let her vent. He cheated and constantly lied about it. Even without everything that happened, they would've still have to divorce imo.

When you factor in the commute time going back and forth between neighborhoods and boroughs, it’s pretty impressive. Most pub or bar crawls aren’t even this involved geographically
