I learned a great tip from my dentist when using boutique - If you're starting to feel tooth sensitivity, you can use sensitive toothpaste in the trays instead of the whitening gel and leave it overnight. It worked wonders for me! I also alternated between whitening and sensitive toothpaste. I managed to get 4 syringes of boutique with the mouth trays for £250GBP which seems to be cheaper than Leonie got it for, so it may not be as expensive as you think 😊 Good luck everyone in your teeth whitening journey x
My dentist said use for 3hrs.. rather than the whole night. Have been doing that but not seeing results. 3 gels to go.. will start wearing for maybe 5 hrs. Get those shooting pains every now and again 😵💫
Hi Leonie, I've been using the the same brand but the dentist gave me my boutique at the end of my invisalign treatment and so they directed me to use it with my retainers and not a specific whitening tray. The last two times I applied it at night I've woken up with bad headaches all day the next day. I'm pretty sure it's because the gel is seeping out and I'm swallowing at night. Do you think it's the invisalign retainers I'm using?
Hi Ryan. I know that the Invisalign retainer can be used for whitening. It could possibly be but I would definitely speak to your dentist about it. Are you doing it everyday?
@@LeonieParker I did it a few nights ago and got the headache and also had weird dreams. So I left it a few nights and then tried again. Low and behold I had weird dreams and woke up with a pounding headache. It could be a coincidence I'm not sure??
@@LeonieParker having said that I've not experienced any sensitivity and gums have been fine so if it is seeping out then I'm not experiencing some of the symptoms other people report. It's so odd
I pretty sure that price also included getting your bleaching trays made but as I had a retainer they didn't bother so I probably got a little ripped off thinking about it.
Does this actually work and if it does how long does it take to whiten? I’ve been using 10% for a week and did not see a difference. Then I switched to using 16% for a week and a half and still have not seen a difference in results, I’m on my second syringe
Yes it did for me. I had 4 syringes in total did it every other night for 2 months as my dentist said doing it gradually gave better results. I don’t think I saw a difference straightaway maybe by end of second/ third syringe. Guess it will depend on what shade your teeth are to start with.
@@LeonieParker what percentage did you use? Also before using it is your teeth supposed to be dry? For example, after brushing your teeth can you put the gel on immediately or do you have to let it dry a little, or does that not matter?
You have paid way too much here. I too have retainers but was advised by my dentist to use the bespoke trays with the little dots on which are a handy measure for the gel. The trays seem to be where the cost seems to lie. I paid £350 to include 4 tubes of gel and the boutique bespoke trays. The boutique gel itself was only £70 for 4 tubes from dentist. I’m pretty sure your dentist has charged full whack and only given you the gels which should be a fraction of the cost. Having said all of that, if you are happy that’s the main thing!!!
Why are you getting composites. Surely if you're whitening your teeth you won't need them. And if you do need composites well then surely you won't need to whiten your teeth as the composites will cover the tooth...
The composite are because I had chipped and misshapen teeth so whitening wouldn’t change that. And also some of my composites were edge bonding not full tooth and would want the teeth with as possible to match the composite

It’s £350 where I am from as well, where did you get yours from?
@@nomanshah7744 I got mine from my dentist in the Midlands UK 😊
@@ameliaelizabeth6445 I see maybe it’s cheaper over there than London
your results are lovely. I am waiting for my trays so excited to see the results.
Thank you. I’m so happy with my results! Ohhh so exciting 😁

Got mines today and it was only 200 quid for the retainer and 4 gels
Wow what a bargin! Good luck with your whitening journey!
@@LeonieParker thanks hopefully it works I stopped smoking so I hope it takes the stains off

How much was your bonding?
It cost £2,100 for 10 teeth
I just got these today hoping for good results but damn they are expensive
Good luck, Im sure you will get the results you want. Yes they are pricey but at least they work unlike cheaper ones I have tired
@@LeonieParker what diet did you follow as well because I heard there's stuff you should avoid eating whilst whitening
Thanks for the informative video, how much is it though?

Yes looking back I definitely did over pay seeing as I never had trays made but I am happy with the results and my teeth transformation as a whole
Mine was £440
Did you follow a white diet all along ?
No, I didn’t. I did try drinking coffee with a straw for a few days at the dentist said it was fine to drink coffee no me with this bleach.
