- Ukraine says it thwarted a Russian plot to kidnap and assassinate Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Ukraine's security service released a message including claims to have uncovered a Russian plot to kidnap and kill President Zelenskyy and other senior military and political figures. Two officers in Ukraine's government protection unit have reportedly been arrested on suspicion of carrying out the plan, which was allegedly orchestrated by Russian intelligence agents. These aren't the first Ukrainian claims of Russian assassination plots, as the war stretches into a third year. Zelenskyy said that in 2022 alone there had been at least 10 attempts to take his life.

What is strange is that Zelensky's movement are likely to be monitored by Russia, given that he isn't hiding this much and has visited the frontline a few times. It shouldn't be all that hard to attempt to take his life there.
Plus, even if there's really a coup that ends Zelensky's life - it would be still blamed on Russia no matter if there's a connection or no connections.

In the meantime the Ukrainians have done more with almost nothing than most people thought possible, while Russia can't even keep her own citizens warm through the winter without aggression.
