Issue here is that hearthstone doesn't have enchantments, which can be on a opponent's creature and still be controlled by you, but buffs, which are owned by the creature that has it, so the opponent's creature gained the effect, and then "your hand" refered to the minion owner's hand
Were that specific interaction to happen in MTG, it would create a "token spell" that goes to their hand (which AFAIK is design space that MTG hasn't yet explored), as the Libram of Hope does not persist as a card. The reason is that the Libram of Wisdom gives the minion the text of "Deathrattle: Add a 'Libram of Wisdom' spell to your hand." That is, the enchanted minion tells its controller to add one to their hand on its death. Carefully reading the card makes it obvious, and I'm surprised that Thijs didn't realize that by looking at the card. He's been playing Hearthstone enough to know that deathrattles refer to the person who controls the minion - thus using shadow madness on a loot hoarder and trading it gets YOU the card even though your opponent originally played the loot hoarder.
I’ve been playing Libram pure pally and I’ve been climbing really well. So much heal and reload against control match ups. It’s also able to keep up with other more aggressive decks
Pain I heal through it, usually win unless they draw 10/6 and 6/7 over and over again. Since I can clear it with libram and consecration at least once on average.
If you cast blessing of wisdom on an enemy minion they don't draw, you do. Power word: Glory is an even better example since the text on that card is even more similar to this one, "Choose a minion, whenever it attacks, restore 4 health to your hero". That text doesn't become "from their perspective" either. Its just not a consistent rule.
@@dg5059 Libram of Wisdom gives the minion a deathrattle, that's why the perspective switches. Both blessing and glory are 'whenever they attack' effects
@@dg5059 - Blessing of Wisdom doesn't put the text on the minion. It creates a persistent effect based on the minion, but the effect is from the POV of who cast Power Word: Glory. Deathrattles, however, function as text on the minion and always function from the POV of whoever controls the minion.
I've been enjoying a similar version of this deck the most so far. I haven't been having much success with "Anti Demon Hunter" decks as they mostly just lose to DH anyway if you don't get good draw, and even when I play the identical DH decks as every one else I was also getting really dumb openers. Feels like this deck has a good chance to stabilise no matter how bad the opening.
@@finnwalt720 Especially after the nerfs, but even that wasn't consistent enough as an "anti" deck, DH still has equal chance to pretty much beat it out depending on your draw. If you can find 1 or 2 AoE early enough and wall up around turn 5 then it's gg, but if you have cancer luck you just lose anyway.
Librams are so powerful though, earlier today I got both librams of wisdom for free by turn 4, and then on 7 I played Liadrin so I had 6 librams of wisdom grand total, and lemme tell ya the poor warrior had no chance at out-valuing +6/+6 every single turn Edit: this answers his question at 9:33 too :D
@@grayconol - No, it gives the minion the deathrattle text. "You" in a minion's deathrattle text always refers to the person who controls it when it dies. Potion of madness, etc., takes advantage of that with things like loot hoarder.
Yeah, pretty much. Without her, you can't have the types of turns Thijs was having where he was buffing by 5 Librams each turn. Liadrin essentially gives you a free Blessing of Kings on a minion that you can keep casting. Really makes the deck work. You probably can still beat aggro without her, but Liadrin is definitely important if you want to beat things that don't just lose to heal + taunt.
Dude I got a galakrond rogue player down to 2hp with just the base demon hunter cards I was using for the quest. He only beat me because of busted togwaggle.
I guess demon hunters aren't that strong that anybody tells blizz should nerf it but in my opinion doesnt need to be cuz this libram is much stronger than dh and also the ramp druid is actually busted than dh.
Literally threw the book at him.

I appreciate that you took that blow for all of us thijs, I personally would have thought the enchantment would come back to my hand like in mtg
same card as explorer's hat. He should have known
@@angelgodplace Right... because Blizzard is *always* consistent with their card descriptions.

He would have lost the battle against the druid for sure tho if he had curved better and had overgrowth in hand

It's even better in token deck, you can easily get more than +6/+6 value in one turn if you have a lot of minions to trade.
And it works pretty well with quest as well.

Is using librams with quest weird, altough ive managed to cast a ton of wisdom and then just copy paste those librams
