    This is a really cool sounding language. Maybe it's just the guy being filmed, but the cadence is really pretty.

    Being a khran boy born in the states it always hurts me I couldn’t learn how to speak it my grandma speaks it all the time just wish to learn to communicate better

      effectivement mais c'est plutôt le Daho de Taî, même si Daho et Doo sont proches linguistiques comme le Glaro et le twabo

    This is also in the district by same name, Konobo. I worked a lot in this district in the 1980s and heard this dialect often - very complex indeed.

      This is my grandmother's language and when I was a kid I used to hear this that it sounds like an Asian language specifically vietnamese

      It's a lot more tonal than Vietnamese.

      It sounds like a West African language, tone isn't unique to Asia.

      @@Truth-Reality.Many of the original inhabitants of SE Asia have very ancient roots from Central and East Africa. Could be an ancient link with West Africa too

    There are different dialects that falls under Krahn. Thanks to my grandmother I can understand them all… I speak tchien(chiehn) 13 dialect in one tribe.

    It is very interesting for me that here in Venezuela there are many negro populations in the coast whose accent is identical to this man's, even though they speak Spanish. A nice combination: Spanish with Konobo intonation.

    A few words are common to the Krahn language.
    "Bloha" = land, territory
    "Gnon mouin wonh" = those who will hear" what I am saying

      Accodring to Wikipedia, the Kru languages have possibly the most complicated tone system in Africa. :)
