I love these skewer headpieces. They're so light and easy to wear, and by changing the length and pattern of the skewers you can get different looks. They're a great way to make big, dramatic headpieces without ending up with something that's too heavy to wear.
I can’t even express to you how thankful I am for these tutorials. I’m a photographer and I’ve spent 2019 making big changes and after five years, finally moving into fine art photography to curate my own original ideas. I know who I am, what I’m trying to say through my images and how I want them to look, but the outfits and accessories I would need are way more than I can afford. Starving artist and all lol. I started to think maybe I should try to find pieces I can style myself to create the looks I want, and your tutorials are helping me achieve all that. I don’t know much about sewing, but I have a good feeling I’ll pick it up :)
Thank you.
You're welcome! I totally get you on wanting to have total creative control. It's so frustrating when you have a vision in your head and you have to compromise. I get the starving artist bit too unfortunately lol. Making everything yourself is such a great thing to do - and fun too. You'll find you get very creative with sourcing and reusing things! Just let me know if there's any specific tutorials you'd like to see. Thanks for watching 💖
That's really beautiful! And dead simple to do. I've been looking for something unique to make for sale, and I think something like this is the way to go!
Thank you. They're so simple but so dramatic. Have fun creating your own version 🙂

I stumbled across your videos a couple weeks ago and I love what you do 💕 I’ve been sewing true vintage reproduction wear for a while but have struggled to find own personal style as I felt it didn’t fit into any particular category because I worried it might be too ‘crafty’, however your videos and amazing designs have really helped me be more confident with my own design style and realise there is a market there. I look forward to watching more of your videos and seeing what else you produce 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you. Finding your own style and being confident with it is definitely a journey. Once you find it, stick to your guns and you will find your customers. Thanks for watching 💓

I bought them a long time ago from a local costume jewellery shop.
Another question from me...what is the material of the green leaves? Are they plastic? Silk? Thank you!
Super informative and inventive! Thank you for the tutorial. ♥️
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
When do you know to use the hot glue gun or glue (E6000)?
Hi! I’m looking at making one of these for a concert, going heavily dressed.
Will this process last a concert? (Only half way through so if it’s been said sorry!)
Do you have any tutorials for a church ray crown, looking to make a gothic inspired by ghost (the band I’m making this outfit for) papa 4 to be exact, replicate his Pope hat into one of these.
beautiful! question: why did you use the e6000 instead of the hot glue gun? do you find it gives you better results and in what way?
Thank you. I used the e6000 for the embellishments because it holds better than the hot glue and because it gives you more time to position the pieces and move them if necessary. Also because you can get nice fine line lines with it - I was worried the hot glue might be too fat and show on the back of the skewers. Thanks for watching 💖
Where did u purchase the earrings?
i love this ,so beautiful. please what is the name of iron placed on the headband?
Thank you. Do you mean the metal parts that I put on near the end? They were from some earrings that I took apart 🙂
Can you do a native american headdress? I would like to learn how to di it
No, I won't be doing that. I believe that only Native Americans should wear Native American headdresses
bonjour où avez vous acheter le petit coussin qui maintier le serre tête
C'est un jambon de tailleur pour presser les courbes. Je ne connais pas le nom correct en français.

What type of foam are you using
It's a thin craft foam. I get it at my local craft store
My sticks are not sticking to the headband .. what do i doo 😭
Make sure your glue gun has fully heated up before you use it - if it's too cold the glue won't work properly.

Using earrings as embellishments made the headpiece look rich and avoided the DIY look.
Thanks
