TRIP REPORT / Aer Lingus A320 EI884 Cork Airport - Malaga Costa del Sol Airport

Good day everyone, welcome to this trip report, this is my review of my flight from Cork to Malaga, it was a great flight on Aer Lingus, really enjoyed it, the only bit I didn’t really enjoy was the bits of turbulence and the rather bumpy approach. Cork Airport was fantastic as always, it’s my home airport and my favourite :) Boarding went smoothly and I was greeted our friendly, enthusiastic Aer Lingus cabin crew, they definitely did a great job as usual. Our aircraft was EI-DEF, well maintained and the mood lighting was a nice touch. it was a full service, only 3 seats empty. We made a northerly departure, the roar out of the engine’s was amazing. The Aer Lingus A320 interior is nice, comfortable, plenty of room but rather bland, the EI 757 & A330 interior looks much nicer and represents the airline better. Other than that everything went smoothly, Aer Lingus are great on short haul but could do more with the seat & Cabin to make it more interesting :)

Malaga is one of my favourite places in the world. I remember when I went there. Your video is gonna be a nice way to finish off the day.

Great tripreport even though its four years old. In my opinion, both ways of boarding the aircraft are just as good as eachother, with the airbridge giving you a swift and easy entrance on to the aircraft, yet the ramp provides excellent 360 degree view of the aircraft. I would say air bridge is quicker tho
I have never saw that lighting before in cabin!
Same, was a nice touch though.

Get on board praying it's turbulence free and get off as soon as possible ive gotten older I don't enjoy flying anymore ive flown to every corner of the earth but now I just want to get on and off. Great trip report by the way and Cork is my hometown airport and its great but need a lot more airlines and destinations
Great video, cork airport is the airport I always use, we are booked on EI in September to Malaga after nearly 3 years of no holidays we cant wait
Spectacular video Im from Cork too and I use Cork Airport all the time I've been out around the airfield too and went to the fire station, its a fantastic Airport 😃

I like boarding by air bridge when it is raining but when dry stairs!! How about you!! My sister went to Malaga recently to learn Spanish and she said it was a very windy approach!! Thanks and goodnight! ;)

Great trip report, dude. You've did a good work before the take off! So now answering your question, I prefer boarding via ramp because there you can see all the plane outside.

Where are the times where food and drinks were included and served on real plates. Anyway, the menue for the onboard sell doesn´t look so bad. Fantastic video of your Aer Lingus flight.
Thank you, sorry I forgot to include that, but they weren’t served on plates and the cabin crew went around about 2x since Aer Lingus is a Low cost carrier on short haul.
Great tripreport, very surprised to see mood lighting on this A320, that's a very good thing! If it is not raining too much, I prefer boarding over the apron, always love to take close-up photos and videos! Thumbs up! :)

I have flown to London standstead many times with Ryanair I know it is an air linegus flight and flew to Lanzarote last year around the same time of this video I am flying to Puerto Rico tomorrow the eighteenth of July 2019
