  • I've decided to keep Thelma on the property and slowly work through her issues. She started, ran and I was able to back her in and out of the garage. The entire brake system is junk, so it's time to begin the project of making her stop again.
    Enjoy!

    That is good looking paint job, for a 2014 model truck, in your part of the country.
    I forgot all about the vents that used to be in the older vehicles.

      Yes, that's a nice truck. I need to get some lube on that vent mechanism.

    I tell ya what brother, my usual belief that all the old ones deserve reviving would be pushed a bit with this one.
    I'd have gotten cold feet at the sight of those rockers. Mercy, poor thing...but hey, channel content right?
    Me, I just had corrosion-caused blowouts of both front and rear brake circuits on my '04 Ram simultaneously;
    damn truck tried to kill me!
    Come to find out, that's pretty common on those years. We'll get it put back together....
    Be safe,

      Darn, glad that you're still here after that mess! Yeah she's a little rough but I want to learn a few things. Welding.

    i dont know if this is helpful, but i've done a lot of floor repair. this is a video on a '48 Dodge Custom sedan I did for a customer (ua-cam.com/video/v4fqDFwtlPg/v-deo.html ). i had to hand fab the entire floor. i just made bead roller dies on the lathe and cereal boxes to template it.
