The happy, jolly fat guy's face at 04:42, when he comes in contact with the Hell's Angel, is classic. He was having such a great time. Never have I seen someone's parade shat on so quickly.
This kind of lays out like some kind of literary tragedy, where you can see things building towards a climax that isn't going to be good. The mix of fans and then you add in the Hells Angels..... what a great idea!
"If you lay successive numbers of bummers on this crowd..." Yeah, the Angels are gonna set the mood for everybody in just a minute. You wish you had left right then, buddy.
...cannot believe no one ( apparently on the entire internet ) realizes the "chick "handing out black panther propaganda is Bonnie Franklin... from One Day at a Time sitcom....
@madFlam1 naaa back in that day it was a respectful way of refering to black people or african americans as we say today. She seemed a bit older then the rest of the crowd and maybe not even a stones fan. She was doing Gods work and her heart was in the right place.
If that's the stage setup at 2:59, then little wonder this was a disaster before it even began. Barely rises above ground level and looks to be situated at the bottom of a slope, meaning the audience would be even more apt to congregate by the stage.
Organizer: Hey I've got a good idea lets hire the hells angels as security and let them sit on stage and drink free beer all day, there's bound to be no trouble then.
"Contributions for the Panther Defense?" Baby white girl shouldda spent a few nights on the streets of Oakland, instead of all of her time at Yale. She wouldda found out what Brotha Pantha's were all about.
@saintcatherine comprehension and listening skills are wonderful things. she was PRO panther, not anti-panther. she was on their 'side'. other than that, that lady who was HELPING rasing money for the panther defense fund was one radical broad.
