This week we get to know about FILIPINO BANDS for the second time around, starting with THE SPEAKS and their collab with Barbie ALMALBIS - High live from MYX, we then watched URBANDUB sing live "The fight is over", followed by MAYONNAISE and their fantastic live mashup also on MYX, and then WOLFGANG came through with some strong rock fest vibes with "Natutulog kong Mundo" and to finish it all off we saw THIS BAND live from wish and it blew our minds!!!🤩🤯👏

FINALLY! SOMEONE REACTING TO URBAN DUB!!! ive been pushing for this!!! yeah been to a concert by them and they are the most consistent band when it comes to live.
You just watched a snippet of Urbandub's farewell concert entitled "ENDLESS" held in Manila back in 2015 - supposedly the last time they performed with the four original members. I was in the crowd. The bassist (Lalay Lim) rejoined the band just for this farewell concert. She came from a long hiatus because band life affected her health, and she and her husband were trying to conceive a child. So being pregnant and raising a family has kept her away from performing. So it was special to see her again. They still occasionally perform as Urbandub, sometimes complete, sometimes as a duo, trio or with substitutes. The vocalist (Gabby Alipe) has since released songs as a solo artist, while the other members have been performing with other bands and artists.

Kumusta is the proper spelling in formal writing but in casual conversations it maybe spelled and said as “Kamusta” and both are just accepted. And as you may have guessed it was derived from the phrase “Como Esta?”
OMGEEEE!!! Watch more Urbandub!!! My favorite song of them would be "A New Tattoo"...they are an experience! They have disbanded though coz Lalay(Bass) is now married with kids and John Mendoza(Drum) is now living in Australia. Gab Alipe(Vocals), John Dinopol (Guitar) and Russell(Acoustic/Bass) mostly run the show. I am a fan of them since 2000s.
Artist's love the Filipino crowd for their concerts. Imagine Celine Dion have to come back to stage after singing her last song bcoz people wont leave, calling her name, so she came back and sang 1 more song... Britney came here for the first time and as people exits people are singing her song... IU (korean singer) said she cant hear herself and much more the music bcoz the crowd is shouting for her or singing her song, which is korean 😆

The Speaks - sounds like Daughtry, Creed, Hootie and the blowfish. They are a one-hit wonder with the song High, but made big waves overseas
Urbandub - alt-rock band with their own brand of rock. You guys should check out their songs First of Summer, Evidence, Gravity
Mayonnaise - alternative, shares status with Kamikazee and Parokya ni Edgar, as premier bands due to their catchy songs like Jopay, Bakit Part 2, Paraan. In their YT channel they do covers and stuff
Wolfgang - metal, dubbed as the Metallica of the Philippines. Though they great mellow songs such as Darkness Fell and Center of the Sun. You should check out their acoustic set, especially the song Matter of Time featuring Rada

Sebastian Atardi more popularly known as Basti. He is a rock icon. Amazing vocals and personally, no one has come close to what Wolfgang can do in their songs. You need to go back and listen to their songs - Cast of Clowns and Atomica.
You will hate our summers but might still feel warm during our rainy season. We only have two season bdw. As of this month, May 2021 hottest temp registered for heat index was in Dagupan (Luzon area) for 52 degrees Celsius. But despite the heat, we will have our afternoon siesta or merienda with steaming hot coffee.
Urbandub is really good at live performance, it's a must watch performance!! Even the acoustic one on Liwa is so good!!

it would be nice also for you guys to check out rico blanco's song entitled you'll be safe here. it was played in the mtv asia's award and rivermaya was the only filipino band that performed in the awards show that time. the song became popular in the philippines and in asia. rico blanco is a good composer too aside from being a vocalist.
The urbandub part was awesome. It was really cool to see how you enjoyed the performance and now i am currently at the part where efra's singing along to mayonnaise-i can't stop laughing not becuase it's funny, i just find it really adorable 😂
The best live performance to listen to from Wolfgang will still be from their Acoustica concert. Would love to see you react to any of their performance from their Acoustica concert
I've seen Urbandub performed it was overwhelming, I actually have a picture with the Gabby Alipe,vocalist. Can't help but fangirl. They are from Cebu, southern part of PH. Their first hit is "First of Summer." They were the front act when Linkin Park performed here 2013, (if my memory serves me right) when Chester was still alive.😁

The concert was Urbandub's farewell concert so it was their last gig for a long while, that's why it was special. Their back to performing gigs now. If you want to see more of Lalay, the bassist, check out Gravity(myx live). For more crowd bangers I'd recommend either Soul Searching and First of Summer.

Almost all of the band you've featured are from 90's-early 2000s. Mayonnaise band came to fame from 2004. Man you're missin' out on The Ransom Collective. You'll freakin be impressed once you hear them. They had a collab with Yuna & GAC before.

Yeaaaay!!! Urbandub!!! I've seen them perform at school fairs, corporate events, bar gigs, etc. The atmosphere every time they perform was always great! They did an online show late last year for their 20th anniversary, and it was so enjoyable and super nostalgic. Hope you react to them more :)

Oh wow! You have a good line up of bands/artists for this reaction. I hope you can react to more OPM bands when you can as there are tons of great ones out there. As a very young kid in the 90s, I had the privilege of listening to most of them since my aunt and uncles would listen to and play their music.
I'm from a very musically diverse family. I grew up listening to my Mom's music, my grandparents', aunt & uncles, and of course my own type as well. They say the 90s and early 2000s were the "golden era" for OPM bands, and I can agree but I'd say too that there also contemporary ones who are good! Enjoy! #OPMBands #OPM

I came to one of the urbandub gigs when they not too popular yet. It was amazing. They sound exactly how they are in record. Gab, who is the vocalist is a really cool guy. Had a photo with him when i saw him at a mall. He entertained me and throw in some jokes. And the bassist, lalay, has always been my crush shes so pretty. Shes like a different person when she plays her bass. Outside she looks like a typical reserved filipina.
