Hank the scientist I mostly use a mobile phone to watch UA-cam but first, when I bought my PC there was already Firefox installed with IE and Edge! It's because Tor Browser uses (you guessed it) Tor network to access internet, which can be quite slow depending on the route created and used by Tor. Tor Browser itself is just a modified Firefox.

@Dua Lipa ironically, it is one of the safest browsers when you aren't looking at anything illegal

Tor actually is a browser that is slow for a reason.
It's meant a browser to make you anonymous, since it connects to 3 random hosts before it reach the website.
